Off Grid VAN LIFE in Northern Ontario

Off Grid VAN LIFE in Northern Ontario

After spending the first week of our van life adventure in Southern Ontario, it was time to make our way up North and boy did things change fast! One day we were driving through beautiful fall colours and the next, we were waking up with temperatures dropping to -5°C outside and snow on the ground.

We spent this week being completely off-grid. No campsites, no RV parks, no established campgrounds, so it’s no surprise that we ran into a few issues!

Despite the snow and the cold weather, we got a chance to explore a few of Northern Ontario’s popular attractions – Pukaskwa National Park and Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and discovered a few other beautiful spots along the way!

ABOUT US:
We are Max & Oksana, an ordinary Canadian couple, living an extraordinary lifestyle! Over the last 5 years, we’ve travelled full time, exploring more than 80 countries all around the world!

But when COVID hit and our international adventures came to a halt, we returned back to Canada. We spent 3 months building a home….in a van. The build is almost done and we are now ready to explore Canada in our new tiny home on wheels.

Oh wow! The weather has changed! The Wawa Goose is looking good! Looks like it had a makeover. Pukaskwa is so beautiful! Even in the snow. The water is definitely low at the falls. In the Spring it’s better. Looking forward to the next video!

Max, you must know there is such a thing as faux fur, don’t you? I’m wondering why you would choose to wear real fur and be responsible for a beautiful animal being trapped, clubbed or shot and then skinned for your stupid coat?

We just got back from Thunder Bay and figure we were a day or two behind you. Your video captured the sights in such a nice way. Love the drone shot of the Aguasabon Gorge. It was a great time to visit northern Ontario. Safe travels.
