Beautiful and well done very creative to get a personalized look. But I could buy one cheaper than all those materials you had to buy plus tools if you don’t already own certain tools. So its not cheaper than buying one. But very good if you want to do a certain pattern you can not find

But I can’t help but think that the floating shelves you made would probably be a lot easier to hang above a bed right? You made one with hula hoops that seems like it would not only be lighter but certainly easier to get that curve you’re looking for

After seeing how much the bed crowns can be here in Western Australia and that is also if you can find them in stock I gave up even buying one till I came across this diy… Awesome going to make one as soon as I can find the items I need that I don’t have. If you attachรฉ the back drape backwards from the top. When you are done and flip it correctly it would hide the staples and raw edges. Plusโs adds a bit more fullness.
If you use drapes in a babies or kids room. This looks great above cribs and toddlers beds HOWEVER; Pull the drapes tight and use a board across the bottom and attach to the wall. You do not want kids playing in the drapes and strangle in them. Yes this has happened. You do not want them full and fluffy.
