o F !!! That’s is exactly my 90s kitchen tiles !!! hahaha .. Now the question is, how is it holding up after a year ?
I just uploaded a video to answer the questions here in the comments and show you all how the floors are holding up (6 months since I painted the bathroom and 2.5 since the kitchen). If you’re interested, you can watch here: https://youtu.be/dfqCP5FyC_0
This is a great video!!!! Approximately how long will the paint last before it begins to wear out? Or would sealing it every few years (how many) keep it from wearing through?
Looks FABULOUS! Great job!
Always be super careful when using multiple cleaning agents with chlorine bleach products. You can easily make a dangerous chemical cocktail.
How has your floor held up??
Thanks so much for posting. Question: Is the top coat the same color as the base coat? Or is the top coat just a clear sealer coat? Do they explain which base goes with which top? TY
I like those tiles.🤷♀️
Did u scrub the grout with the brush before painting?
After you have used it for a long time, has it been exposed to peeling, scratches, or discoloration, in other words, what are its drawbacks?
Looks good I like it I am planing on doing my kitchen floors and bathroom floors
Did you have to put anything on the floor when you finished painting the floor
Wow nice!!
Love this video. I think I’ve watched it 10 times and two days ago I finally got up the nerve to try it. Thank you, your instructions were a huge help I don’t think I ever would have attempted this just by reading the back of a can of paint! I did the master bath floor and it came out so beautifully 😍
Oh no you didn’t paint that tile!
painful to watch……just get to it please. 👍👍👍. Too much talking…more showing/doing. We barely saw how you did it.
I love how your floors look now. I really like the gray color. Congratulations!
I’m curious about painting under the stove and fridge. We’re you able to paint under?
Why did you put down more than one base coat? That paint is so thick…was is necessary to paint three times?
Looks incredible, great job!!
Maybe try using a primer first to ensure that top coat adheres.
That was a tight schedule, you’re amazing!👍👍
Spray on hair for your floor:)
Sorry if you have already answered this question: how long do these solutions last? And what’s the approx cost /sqf or sqm?
can i paint soft cement floor with that
How has it held up?
How is it holding up after a few months?
You also paint the grout?
It’s terrible idea to painting tiles, because I did mines and the paint starting come off after few days it’s self.
Wow looks awesome
Remember, you get what you pay for.
Wow that looks great , but is it slippery ?
Could I possibly use this over those linoleum flooring
So I dont need to cover the baseboards with tape as long as i use a paint brush? Sounds great!
I’ve watched this same video a few times over the years as well I’m curious how well it’s held up and if you think that there is a better product to seal it perhaps or is it doing fine
Has anyone done this that has pet? I have three active dogs and am wondering how it would hold up.
We ve made the mistake of buying anthracite coloured tiles and everything little dirt is shown on it, wanna get it to a mid gray colour, but not sure with floor heating, would it work with that as well because of the heat? because we ve got that, do you by any chance have that as well? Couldnt see any radiators on video. Thanks
you are to low cant hear you
Nice
I love this! Any idea if moving the stove / fridge causes chips, or scratching? I’m thinking of doing this reno in my condo
You have a big beautiful eye..🥰
How long will the paint last?
I’m curious what the floor looks like after a year?
I’ve seen alot of ppl ask the same question but no answer it seems as far. Can you please let us know how long the paint holds up for with a normal day to day usage. Also do you mind sharing what brand paint and primer you used for this project. Thanks alot.
Beautiful
Those eyes though!
Lol, I’m doing this but I’m doing black and white 😭 and the kitchen is huge luckily I have masking tape
Looked better before ? I think it would work only in repainting faded tiles
worse
LOVE your comment at 5:22 – "We’ll see how that goes." Had me cracking up. Go girl. This is awesome.
I understand starting with a clean surface when you paint anything. My question would be, even though I’ve used Rock Solid products before (they make a deck stain that’s incredible) but how well does this floor paint stick to glazed tile. My worry would be that with normal wear and tear along with mopping that eventually the paint would separate from the tile, crack and peel. As a kid, we had an unfinish basement with a concrete floor and my mother would paint it at least once a year and there were always spots where the paint would bubble and crack. I understand that paint products have come a long way since the early 1960’s, but I wouldn’t want to go to all that work just to have the paint eventually peel off. Any suggestions or comments? Nothing is ever as easy as it seems.
