Home Depot or Lowes may be willing to rip the planks down for you. I’ve seen some people who’ve done this that have gone that route. There may or may not be an extra charge depending on your local store.

I did this abt 5 years ago. Still looks great, has held up great. I was quoted $15,000 to do my home, i figured I’d give it a go. It cost under $1,000. Best decision ever!!!!

  23. Justin Langenfeld on April 8, 2021 at 2:19 am

Looks so cool. Curious as to the size and type of nail. I want to do this, but am worried about how well the trim nails will hold over time, and don’t want the extra pucker that staples would give.

  24. daniel stollings on April 8, 2021 at 2:24 am

How many square feet would one piece of this cover?

What if your sub floor is concrete because you have a slab, would you use the same roofing padding? If so what would you use to anchor it down, glue?

  34. Divine E. on April 8, 2021 at 2:34 am
