your decorating is great, however I noticed that you always plant your plants wrong. the top of the plant soil should be relatively close to your top soil level. You should break up the root ball at the bottom, helping them to go out, not stay in a circle, and then plant higher up.

Very Nice ! Also if you want to stop using raid – adopt a pair of rescue cats from your local shelter. In seven years of living in my south Florida home I have never had a palmetto in our house – Our cats are like the night watchmen – they are on patrol and no pest intruders will make it past two big cats looking for something to amuse themselves with ❀️love your makeover ( but pesticides poison all of us – try saving a kitty cats life – he will reward you greatly

I’m so glad you shared your raid story with us. I’ve already bought some. Magybe someone else already answered you comment about the type plants in your smaller planters. They are caladiums. Since your porch is covered they will probably do fine. They don’t like bright heat or sun on them, and I know how the weather is in Florida. If you start having problems with burning, etc. just move them to a completely shady area. Your porch turned out gorgeous. You home is gorgeous as well, which adds to your own beauty. Thanks for sharing this video. This is my first time ever finding your channel. I’m Linda from Texas – where it gets up one half of summer above 100 degrees. I’m an avid gardner and have learned the hard way what to buy and where to plant things. Good luck with your caladiums. By the way, hostas is another another plant that loves shade. I have huge trees in my yard, so I created hosta gardens all around the largest trees. I must say, it looks beautiful. In between and in front of the hostas I a bunches of caladiums and daylilies surrounding the hostas. Thank again for sharing your new porch with us. God Bless.

  34. Mandy Jane on October 21, 2021 at 10:39 am

    Entrance turned out beautifully!!
The smaller plants are caladiums, I believe.
