Great video as always Valentina. I have a health tip for you. I know you love your candles and so do I. I really try and buy natural soy wax or beeswax candles now. As paraffin wax ones are like burning petrol in your house. The fumes are very bad for the lungs.
The rule of threes is such a helpful tip. My husband is a photographer and he applies it all the time…and then breaks it like you do to add interest when needed. I’ve said it before, but I love how you show the staging that isn’t quite "right" in your eyes, and then what you did to change it. We learn so much from your content. Thank you!

I remember learning about decorating with odd numbers as a teen then learning about “the golden mean” in college interior design class and using an assortment of textures and shapes within a room, which has helped me in decorating each of my homes & the last few years in my property staging business. I especially love the idea of pulling out the dining room chairs then draping a blanket over one of them.,
Timely report of how to keep house and how to update decor with a little physical effort. Now that kids are back from college for winter break I find I too am folding up the blankets on the sofa after they leave them out in a bunch as your son did with his taco blanket but I think I may leave the chairs untucked. That’s a nice idea. Also I think I may go out to my arborvitae for a few cuttings. I like that one too.

Great styling tips, I try and do most of these already.
My husband told me when we moved to our home(he loved, I wasn’t sold.. haha) that I would get to decorate the living room however I wanted.. Fast forward three years, I have an ugly leather recliner, couches that aren’t even remotely my style, and that atrocious Tortilla Blanket! 😭
I’m 100%thankful, don’t get me wrong, but it just stinks haha.

Hey V, of course I love your styling tips. The way you’ve styled the credenza top is what I call the “pyramid” going low to high to low. Forces the eye to move over the setting in a natural flow. What do you do with the stuff on the table when you actually use the table?
OMG I just found that circular steel sculpture at my local HomeGoods in Miami, Fl it was in my cart until I found another cool one!
Im so excited about putting a rug under my round table. Can you tell me how to decide what size to buy? The table is 5Ft and is in breakfast room so not a very large space. Usually have 4-6 chairs around it. Does rug have to be large enough to accommodate the chairs when they are pulled out?
I love the Mohawk strike holder. I bought this from another video where you talked about it. I absolutely loved it when it arrived. However! In my country you cannot buy strike anywhere matches, you can only get safety matches in New Zealand. So 🙁 I had to send it back, very sad day.
I love placing 4 chairs around a round table in an "X" pattern rather than a straight "T" pattern especially if the table is in a corner. It just looks more pleasing to the eye to me.
