I watched Kayla glass paint the anime character and I had to go out to buy some paint pens. I haven’t tried it yet, but I am going to try it soon. It looked like so much fun!

I can NOT believe you are old enough to have adult children. Discovered you just last week and love your ideas but thought you were like 30.

  7. Kim Hefley on November 4, 2021 at 9:58 am

Clear tape unfortunately doesn’t stick to the vinyl as well as the paper opaque transfer tape. I use ckear to layer vinyl at work but that’s it. Using smooth firm strokes in one direction helps too. I work for a sign shop. You instructions are always on point πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š. Also, I would suggest a gift card or credit card if you don’t have a squeegee, the metal scraper is to big and sharp, it could tear the tape or vinyl. Invest in a squeegee, it’s totally worth it!

  18. Cello Phane on November 4, 2021 at 10:11 am

Yours are WAY prettier. Maybe you could make a bunch and sell them for $50!

  19. Laura Martin on November 4, 2021 at 10:11 am

Use an old credit card and burnish on both sides, will stick better to transfer tape.. just hint. I’d be afraid to use the metal scraper. I would RIP the vinyl.. thanks for showing.

  20. Diana Holy on November 4, 2021 at 10:11 am

  27. Lisa Marie Keeping Up w/ The Jones' *Jon&Lisa Marie on November 4, 2021 at 10:20 am

Very cute. For my beach bathrooms I want to add a small seashell to the middle instead of a button

  28. Jennifer Kopenga on November 4, 2021 at 10:24 am

These came out AMAZING!! They actually have these same things at dollar general the only difference is the lettering is wood and it’s raised.. I believe they were less than $5 bucks 😲

  29. Penny Finkenstadt on November 4, 2021 at 10:27 am

Another great scraper is the wooden spatula from dollar tree and cut most of the handle off. Not as sharp an edge as the cutter.

  30. Sharon Swan on November 4, 2021 at 10:27 am

    A+ Kelly

  31. Debbie McGravey on November 4, 2021 at 10:28 am

When using vinyl transfer tape, I find it helps to use my scraper tool on both the back and front of the piece. By applying pressure to the back of the piece, I feel it helps transfer the image or letters to the adhesive .

  32. Bobbie Flores on November 4, 2021 at 10:29 am

Lol girly, you are hilarious and it’s funny when you ask questions I’m answering them, and kiddos wonder who im talking to. Lol loved your signs much better, then the 50+dollars tfs. Big Thumbs Up. πŸ‘πŸ₯°πŸ™

  33. Jill Yohn on November 4, 2021 at 10:30 am

The nice thing about DIYing these signs is that you can make them match your decor! I absolutely love the twine flowers!

    You crack me up

  41. Artie Johnson on November 4, 2021 at 10:39 am

This is so cool, I really like that you made these from Dollar Tree items. So much cheaper than Hobby Lobby. I am a huge Hobby Lobby shopper, but I am disappointed that they took the 40% coupon away.

  42. Tara Haines on November 4, 2021 at 10:41 am

I love your DIY’s…buying new kitchen chairs so I can make some…thanks!!

  43. Gina Volpe on November 4, 2021 at 10:41 am

I love ❀️ that yours looks better then the hobby lobby one… also what does the rest of your shirt say ?it’s cut off at the bottom I’m a coffee lover too 😁

  44. Julia Graf on November 4, 2021 at 10:42 am

I made these last year. I don’t have a cricut so I traced the letters on the cork sheets from dollar tree to get a more wood look.

  45. Penny Finkenstadt on November 4, 2021 at 10:43 am

    I love these!
