Renter-Friendly Apartment Bathroom Makeover Tutorial
Renter-Friendly Apartment Bathroom Makeover Tutorial
I have been living in my home for almost 5 months now and I was finally motivated to spruce up my shared bathroom. When I first moved into this rental with my boyfriend he had been sharing it with a roommate. Decorating was last on their priority list so I decided to give it a rental friendly bathroom upgrade.

What did you do with the red corners
Will it come off? Lol just in case they didn’t like it
You have done an awesome job anyways
The contact paper vanity looks amazing, but seriously the edges must have come up all over really quickly, and that was a heck of a lot of work!
U did an awesome job, the question i have is how easy it is to remove the contact papers from the wall and sink when you are moving out??
You shouldn’t have your makeup board near the toilet. Anything near it gets contaminated. Keep your makeup inside your cabinet or in another room.
This is so lovely! Is it easy to clean and disinfect the contact paper? Do you find it starts to peel over time?
How long did each process take you?
Ur fabulous, lets hold hands under rainbows hahah. Sorry im weird and a tart….Meow
What a great job
Looks nice and a whole lot better, but you need to change the shower curtains with something that would coordinate with the tiles and wall paper, maybe white with gray would look good! Otherwise, 👍🏼!
Awesome job! We done!
girl this is so cute i love it!
A PRO tip: No need to use two strips of contact paper on cabinet. Start at far right of cabinet and allow for 1-2 extra inches to overlap the wall then use a razor blade and cut off excess.
I love the wallpaper. You need the Sink Topperr. It’s the best thing ever for small bathroom with no counter space. I got mine on Amazon
Great job beloved.
I loved your video before I finished watching the whole thing! Amazing job! Love your energy
My lease has a no contact paper or Command hook clause. They said too many renters caused damage using these products. I don’t know how true it is. Anyone have damages when removing these products?
Love this.
cool!
Girl you are so good at applying contact paper you didn’t even took off the cabinets door it looks so nice wow
Very nice work!
Turned out beautiful! You make it look so easy! I also rent and have the ugliest cabinets in my bathroom. Might be time to try the contact paper trick! Not sure what to do about the old linoleum floor that’s also a disaster. Might just have to live with it, but with beautifully redone cabinets, maybe it won’t be as noticeable!
Thanks for sharing ❤
The landlord: 😳
You: don’t worry it comes off!
The land lord: 🥺
When you remove that wall paper doesn’t ruin the wall?
Wow, what a difference! Gorgeous!
The wall paper is very pretty, not crazy about the floor tile should try some stick a peel tile ,but u did a good job
Omg you can really put wallpaper up with precision 🤩
I need a step by step tutorial, I’m sure I’m not alone so plz can you? Oh and thx for not using that ugly standard faux marble so corny but your wallpaper is posh!
Can you please come to my apaaaarttttmeeeeeeennnntttt!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
You NAILED IT with that contact paper!! Not a seam to be seen
Do you have to remove this once you leave? I will be renting and definitely want to do a make over like this
With it being wallpaper will it be hard to peel off when you move? Like taking existing paint with it or not all the glue coming off? I’m not asking at all to be rude, I just really want to do this with my new rental but I’m afraid
Wow! Grrl you can get down! I’ve never seen anyone handle wallpaper like that. Good job! Very nice!
Fantastic job
You are really nice tenant very good job you deserve some discount in your rent payment congratulancions
Love it but would of painted the rest a bright white
I loved everything but maybe you can paint the floor with white or beige as well as adding some wall paper on the frame around the windows. And painting the power point.
I seen the way you were applying the contact paper NICE. This is the way I going to this process when the time comes.
OMG i cannot believe your cabinet was not painted lol. I took my eyes off the video for a second and had to rewind to see you putting the paper on. Great work
I love all that you did to upgrade your bathroom!!! Maybe get another big black basket to match size of the toilet paper one to fit towels better and put the smaller one some other place you could use it maybe above it for more decoration inside or wash cloths. I want to know more about your magnetic makeup board. Please make a video… unless you have one. Did you put individual magnetic sticker on the bottom of everything? Where did you purchase the magnetic board? Thank you for your great ideas.
Do the floor,
We are moving likely by the next New Year so I’m binging and saving videos on making rentals more cozy and enjoyable, love finding realistic ones like yours :))
Looks amazing! Love the baskets. I rent and don’t have much storage room either.
Thanks for the inspiration❤
Lovely wall paper really but please change the mat
This turned out really really well. You did a great job with your matching.
Bravo! Looks super. 10 times better than before!
Great Job✨
That’s great! I was really hoping you’d do sticky floor tiles too😊
Vintage tile is awesome. I would’ve just added some maroon accents especially since there’s already pink going on. Covering it all was an odd choice.
Great job..floor tiles might finish it off…peel and stick?
