Hi guys, in today’s video I’m going to be doing a living room tour.
Over on my Instagram account, this is the room where people ask the most questions about where I have bought a lot of the items.
So I thought I would take you around, let you know where I got them from and also I will link as much as I can in the description box below.
If there are some items that I can’t find, what I will do is link some close alternatives.
So I’m going to start off with the larger pieces of furniture and make my way through to the smaller details.
Starting with our sofas, these are 3 years old and we got these from Debenhams.
We were searching for quite a long time for a particular shade of grey.
We went for more of a greige tone rather than the classic silver grey.
Another reason why we were searching for quite a long time was because we needed sofas that were small enough to fir under the stairs here and also small enough to fit in this space here.
The reason why we wanted this lay out is because when we came to view the house they had a sofa underneath the stairs, but they also had another sofa running along this part here and I just remember thinking how much it closed off the room so I knew when we moved in that we would have a little play around with the layout and try to open it up a little bit.
I definitely prefer it this way. I think it makes the room appear larger.
Now onto the coffee table. This, I am asked about a lot over on my Instagram. This is from Ikea. It was £35. Unfortunately they don’t do it in white anymore, they only do it in black so I will link the black one for you in the description box below. I will also link a close alternative, but of you have bought the black one and spray painted in white, I would love to know so I could share that with everyone.
Onto the rug. This was from Wayfair. It was a really good price. I will link that for you.
I had been searching for a white rug because I definitely wanted white rather than cream to go with the coffee table.
Again, I was searching for quite a long time, but when I came across this one, it was such a good price, I had to get it.
It does need a bit of a clean, but again I’ve had it for 3 years so it’s done really well.
Another thing I am asked a lot about is this TV unit. This was from B&M and it was only £99.
The next piece of larger furniture I am going to show you is the console table. Again, it was a really good price. We got this from Amazon, but you can also get them from Ebay. They’re still in stock so I will make sure that I link that for you.
Just above the console table, this mirror was from William Wood mirrors. It was one of the first things that we bought for the house.
Speaking of mirrors, we still have this one sat here as we haven’t found a home for it yet. This is our DIY industrial mirror that we made last week. I
