I have an Expedition so I feel ya, but I would and do move just because if someone parks beside me, I want to be able to get in my car without the chance of hitting the one beside me. Now if it’s on the passenger side I would leave it because no one is going to be getting in that side since I’m always by myself. It never fails, someone will ALWAYS park beside me no matter how far away I park. 😂😂😂
I’m like you, if I ever get rich I’d love an old Victorian house to fix up or save!! Lol.

About the store not helping customers with furniture, well then the store is Libel for a customer to get injured in store moving furniture, most stores move it outside so that you don’t get injured and sue.
it’s always so fun to see what second-hand shops have in other countries, especially when i can lie on the couch at the same time 😂 can’t wait for the next video!

Our parking lot-if I am on the white line I have to park over as the parking stalls are narrow already. I am the one out there parking my car over and over cause I can’t get it to park straight. 😂 it’s taking me like 10 minutes and people are staring at me. It’s a whole thing! 🤣😅

I’m commenting as I watch. You can rewire lamps pretty easily and for little money so no worries about buying questionable lamps. The desk is super cute. I’ve seen people on YouTube flip them for hundreds. Restored the desk will fetch more. Sad that flips don’t do well in your area. But you can do them for yourself and others and at least you can get some content because you know well enjoy them lots!😊

Hey Karrie, Happy Friday. I have always had a passion for thrift shopping since I was a little girl. I still enjoy thrift shopping and looking around to see if I can find anything interesting or any must haves. ❤ I’m glad that you made a video based on thrift shopping and getting things on a budget. ❤ yeah I wouldn’t feel comfortable filming while getting looks especially from the workers at the store like no thanks I will stop. 😂 I’m glad the lady is starting to clean up the store and making it look better. ❤ The Owner of the store did an awesome job hiring her for management. If I think I’m good with parking but find out I’m on the white line, I would fix it because I don’t people to hit my car. My car is small and it can fit in between the lines and idk why but even if the parking lot seems to be empty, people like to park next to me.

Since COVID I have noticed that a lot of places have become so much less accommodating to their customers. I would think that the opposite should be the case and don’t even get me started on how much more expensive everything is. Thrift stores here in Minnesota get their inventory DONATED to them so why inflate the prices. If I wanted to pay more for items I would expect them to be new!
I usually repark. I don’t want my car dinged.

Girl!!! We traded my smaller suv for a truck and let me tell you I always leave it….and if anyone has anything to say I tell them it’s too big and I can’t drive it good lol now I do always park away from everyone not for the steps but for the bad parking jobs I do!!

I finally found a decent thrift store near me. My husband and I went for a walk after our date night and found this cute store. I found a beautiful vase which was great but thought some of their pricing was very high. I found a perfect book for decorating but it was $95.00, I was shocked. Anyway, you encouraged me to try the thrift store thing and I will continue looking for other stores while out and about. Thanks for sharing. 💕

That desk, you could get a metal container to put inside with ice and make it a cute outdoor cooler for by your pool or on your patio when people are over. Or just to keep cold drinks on hand
I live near Austin Tx and flipping furniture is the same way. Most people selling on Facebook marketplace want way too much to be able to flip and actually make a profit. Anything that’s reasonably priced is pressed wood or needs a ton of work

I’m addicted to thrifting. There are so many interesting one of a kind d decor items that would cost a fortune if bought from a retail store I order catalogs from my favorite interior design stores that offer them. Or just look online a lot. Pinterest and youtube are great for getting a sense of trends and ones favorite styles. That way when you se things similar to what would be astronomically priced you can pick it up for a few bucks instead.

That moving furniture rule is dumb. Then how do they get the furniture inside? Do they hire movers? Is it only the owners moving everything or the booth sellers?
