Pine pellets seem to be the best option for the #2 van situation.

  2. Dianne Barth on August 24, 2023 at 7:02 pm

    Much useful information…! Great job!

  3. tara marie on August 24, 2023 at 7:02 pm

Thank you so much! I actually got more ideas from this short video then I have from numerous videos of what. And thanks for keeping it real! Cuz 💩 happens, to all of us!
On that note, where do you dispose of such? And also your urine buckets? Are there any good or not-so-good places? You can’t just dump it anywhere right?

  4. Amy Poole on August 24, 2023 at 7:02 pm

Wow about to start minivan camper life these are awesome ideas…some I thought but lots I had not! Thank you!

  5. L S on August 24, 2023 at 7:02 pm

Your videos are always worth the watch. I’ve been living full time in my van for 1 full year as of 5/15 and I still find little nuggets of wisdom on your channel Amanda so thank you so much.
    As always, safe travels

Bungee cords are awesome – lol – and Magnetics! Now you are talking! We have so many magnetic things in our van – including storage and to hang things! We went the NO BUILD approach, so finding things that work are fantastic and sometimes challenging. Nice tips/hacks – very helpful ideas! Keep making memories & adventure on! ~Karen & Shannon WOY

I use the clips to clip black towels to my windows! Very inexpensive and it does the job🤣

  11. Ollie on August 24, 2023 at 7:11 pm

Thanks Amanda, this was very helpful. I will be buying a camper van soon and this video gave me a lot of good tips. I love your videos 😊

  12. Leese Emme on August 24, 2023 at 7:13 pm

Lucky this Amanda. I used to use cat litter for my toilet when I switched over to pellets… what a difference! easier to handle there’s absolutely no smell it’s the best. Going to go get my strainer today for my sink. Thanks for all the great ideas.

  13. Jessy S on August 24, 2023 at 7:14 pm

I think the pine pellets may be better for the environment than kitty litter…Ceretainly smells better!

  14. Gloria on August 24, 2023 at 7:14 pm

Great hacks Amanda! You are so informative, organized and so tidy and clean. I love your videos and Wynston is the cutest pup ever. 😊♥

  15. k8k9vanlifeplus on August 24, 2023 at 7:15 pm

Awesome suggestions!! I use many of the same as you; DT is a great resource for vanlife. I also use a bungie cord to hold my spray bottles.
You and Matty are both so clever. Thank you!!❤

  16. Lavern dunlap on August 24, 2023 at 7:16 pm

Nice table only 5 bucks 👍😁

  17. ashleyhum on August 24, 2023 at 7:17 pm

Omg The cd case turned cord storage is GENIUS!

  18. Thanatos Katakrima on August 24, 2023 at 7:18 pm

Get a clothes moving box with the bar in the center to hang clothes. That way your dressy clothes is hung on hangers. That’s how I keep my suits nice and wrinkled free. Also get a coleman cot to put a twin memory foam mattress on it, it’ll give you more storage space underneath and you could even put a small bed for your pup under it. Gives him space to walk around and put pee pee pads if he needs to go when you’re sleeping at night 😊

  19. Wyrd Adventures on August 24, 2023 at 7:18 pm

I just how uou are so matter of fact. I have large binder clips I use for hanging my cotton towels for privacy if I need to pull over to potty. Warning! If you go in the north western part of Washington into some of the forest areas, there are not alot of public restrooms unless you are a customer!

I’ve gotten so many great ideas from you. I bought the same toilet on your recommendation and it’s been great for two years already. I actually store mine in one of those collapsible ottomans with a lid and it fits great in there.

  38. BeagleEase Living Free on August 24, 2023 at 7:38 pm

Thank you sooo much for explaining and showing in detail how you hook things up. So many YouTubers just say they did, but don’t show HOW! I’m not very "crafty" and have had a hard time hanging up curtains, etc.

  39. Patti Kaye on August 24, 2023 at 7:38 pm

a pumice stone for getting pet hair out of the car rug? BRB-trying it right now! Thanks

Everybody still wants to know, but always afraid to ask how van lifers handle their #1 and #2 priorities. You did a great job on this video too. I’m getting some of those binder clips and will use your amazon link/s. Thanks Amanda!
