This Week we address Joey’s Room. San Diego Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson has a budget of $5,000 to completely transform Joey’s room from DRAB to FAB! Rebecca uses inexpensive furniture from Ikea for the job! A new queen size bed with drawer storage, a handsome modern night stand, new desk and media equipment unit. Most notably, 5 PAX wardrobe units provide this young man a place for everything he needs.
What was once a hot mess becomes a dream bedroom for this lucky guy!
Rebecca walks you through the design process laying out the furniture, adding much needed lighting and pulling the ghastly red walls together with the inspiration from a single pillow !

I miss fix it Fridays! I love these because I feel you laser in and just tick off the changes that need to happen. I learn so much from these videos, hope to see more in the kinwoven future! You did such an amazing job on this room i love the floating shelves and how you reinvented the closet. I have closet challenges in my home…ac unit in one water heater in another umm hello what were they thinking! I will definitely explore some of these ideas and maybe i can create a new wardrobe unit like you did. ❤
