Souvla – A Contemporary Greek Restaurant in the Heart of Hong Kong

Souvla is a contemporary Greek restaurant in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong. Named after the popular Greek dish of open-spit grilled meat, Souvla’s unique design adopts essences of old Greece with a modern, yet subtle, twist. Greek honey is considered to be some of the finest in the world, due to unlimited summer sun; at Souvla, this idea is presented not only in its food, but also throughout the entire restaurant via a honeycomb feature and the use of golden honey timber.

The bar and tabletops are made from honed white granite, taking on the appearance of 800,000 year-old marble. This, together with Robert Gordon’s beautifully handcrafted pieces of ceramic crockery, creates an atmosphere reminiscent of Ancient Greece, with a modern feel.

Much the same can be said about Souvla’s food and beverage offerings, — following the age-old tradition of simplicity, quality and freshness in everything served.
