Stealth Van Tour | The Ultimate Cargo Van Conversion for Urban Living

Stealth Van Tour | The Ultimate Cargo Van Conversion for Urban Living

After 1.5 years I have finally done a van tour video!! This is my first attempt at a “cinematic style” video so be gentle. The cargo van conversion took approximately 6 months to complete finish to end but are van builds ever really done?!
I knew I was going to be in the city most of the time, so I designed a stealth van build that way parking overnight would not be an issue. Van life has many different styles of van conversions, everyone builds something specific for their situation and this is mine. This van life tour full time living has actually taken me many times to make so I am glad it is finally done and am happy to share my chevy express van build or chevy express van conversion.
This is not just another urban stealth camping van tour with obvious flaws in it because I put extra effort into making this for stealth van living and I am happy that this van was my intro for van life Canada. Full time van life is not for the faint hearted, nor is urban camping van.
Hopefully my STEALTH VAN TOUR has given you some ideas or at very least some inspiration!!
Thanks for watching!!!

What is the length of the bed? Trying to decide between a normal and extended length express as someone who is 6’0

  2. Jason Meador on March 4, 2023 at 8:35 am

Great build no over thinking.. The bucket is a great idea for emergencies!!

  3. tallwonder on March 4, 2023 at 8:36 am

The music is very distracting. I can hardly focus on your words.

  4. Will N on March 4, 2023 at 8:39 am

This is the perfect size vehicle. Not too small like a SUV where you have just enough space and not too large like a sprinter where it’s easier to actually drive around.

  5. KWicksable on March 4, 2023 at 8:40 am

I admire the practicality and clean lines of your build. Your choice of materials and perfectly selected additions are ideal for what I want in my future van build. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. I thank you for sharing because you have helped me to make decisions about some of the materials I will use.

  6. Max Ford on March 4, 2023 at 8:40 am

That’s one cool van. Everything you need, nothing you don’t.

  7. Dianna A on March 4, 2023 at 8:40 am

I really like what you did. Nice lines. Simple. It’s just enough. Love it

  8. razor3003 on March 4, 2023 at 8:42 am

Nice! Do you still have it?

  9. no noi on March 4, 2023 at 8:43 am

    simple but perfect

  10. Julie Jules on March 4, 2023 at 8:45 am

I kinda wish I bought a conversion van instead of cargo. The cab foot area gets hot and is not insulated. I figure a conversion van is more insulated. I don’t give a rats ass anymore whether I’m stealth or not. Plus if you see solar panels you ain’t stealth.

  11. Barrett Starr on March 4, 2023 at 8:45 am

is that a twin bed? what kind of bed is that?

  12. Kord Taylor on March 4, 2023 at 8:45 am

Can we buy these? Dude you have a wave here.

  13. Gail Kellum on March 4, 2023 at 8:48 am

I love the clean, modern feel of your van. Nice job!

  14. Baphomet 666 on March 4, 2023 at 8:48 am

I absolutely loved everything except for two things. Great work!

    1) it’s a Chevy.
    2) it’s a large bed.

  15. GodsChosenSoldier on March 4, 2023 at 8:48 am

Did u ever do a totorial on how to make it this way

  16. Sue Fox on March 4, 2023 at 8:50 am

This van looks great inside! So many look depressing. This set up is great.

  17. Micki on March 4, 2023 at 8:51 am

I love the clean, bright look – beautiful!

  18. Up2NoGood on March 4, 2023 at 8:51 am

This guy has an Engineers mind… He built what he needed. As most people try to create everything a House has. Which they end up over weight and unbalanced.

  19. Xa Ya Za Za on March 4, 2023 at 8:52 am

    Sweet van and banana hammock😋

  20. BigFoot on March 4, 2023 at 8:53 am

Yep great looking van. It is pretty stealthy from the out side. I wound add a orange cone to the front.

  21. Kord Taylor on March 4, 2023 at 8:56 am

Dude you are brilliant! Just gotta say. 🔥

  22. Luke Snyder on March 4, 2023 at 8:57 am

It’s a nice van but you guys who deck out your Vans like this always make it sound like I was just so easy you just do this I wouldn’t even know where to begin. most of us will probably just have some makeshift bed in back and some tubs for storage.

  23. Bernard Bop on March 4, 2023 at 8:57 am

Finally a layout that makes sense

  24. Erin Gartland on March 4, 2023 at 8:57 am

    Very simple yet very nice

  25. Stephanie on March 4, 2023 at 8:59 am

Like the idea of keeping it look like a trade van. Safer!!!!

  26. Space Cat on March 4, 2023 at 9:00 am

4:50 PS, ALL soaps have the potential to be hazardous to the environment. Nutrient pollution has the same impact whether it’s natural or artificial. Unless you are careful to only use soap when 200ft from a water source, with leave no trace technically calling for it to be disposed of in a 6-8" hole, then you are definitely risking impacting local ecosystems. Granted, anybody in a vehicle is already doing that to some degree as all roads cause a pretty nasty chemical runoff cocktail.

  27. Sue Merritt on March 4, 2023 at 9:01 am

Cracks me up….."this banana 🍌 hammock that I made myself" …. big smile 😀

  28. Josh Kelnhofer on March 4, 2023 at 9:02 am

    This is fantastic! Great job

  29. Theonlyonestanding on March 4, 2023 at 9:03 am

  32. kingtebz on March 4, 2023 at 9:06 am

I’ve seen a lot of builds but this one is more my style. I’ll def be returning to this vid for when the time comes for my build. Cheers!

  33. wasabi salsa on March 4, 2023 at 9:09 am

Love It !! I got into the van life knowing I could never leave the city, I do have my moments that I need to head to the woods but im a city boy

  34. aabi fauzi on March 4, 2023 at 9:09 am

choosing a van in which you can stand i feel is better othervise its like good for people who are more energetic not like me boring

  35. Sea Bas on March 4, 2023 at 9:11 am

Epic video of a great build! Have i seen you in Victoria sitting on your rooftop at beacon hill park last month, maybe? I’m living humbly in a grand caravan but looking to upgrade soon!

  36. Douglas Bows on March 4, 2023 at 9:15 am

What do y do for air conditioner? Very hot in summer time unless y go to Alaska

  37. Deb Chase on March 4, 2023 at 9:17 am

It’s amazing! Thanks for sharing! I am totally into stealthy living.

  38. Callie Duval on March 4, 2023 at 9:18 am

Beautiful I would pay you to build mine when I get one. This is nice

  39. Rocko Beam on March 4, 2023 at 9:18 am

I live in a 1925 44 foot boat. I don’t think I’d trade it in, but if I was just a renter I’d definitely be all over this type of living/exploring

  40. Louis P. on March 4, 2023 at 9:21 am

Absolute best set up I’ve seen to date! I’m going to duplicate it EXACTLY lol. More or less. Kinda. Close to it… 🙂

  41. hurbert conn on March 4, 2023 at 9:21 am

Can you provide a materials list for the items you placed in your van. It would save me alot of time in searching for the things I need to convert my van. Thanks

  42. The Trail Awaits on March 4, 2023 at 9:22 am

Am always confused on why people, particularly single people chose to waste so much space by choosing a full size bed instead of a twin.

  43. Boundless Brad on March 4, 2023 at 9:23 am

The list of items I used is in the description. Thanks for watching!!

  44. Zareth The Alchemist on March 4, 2023 at 9:23 am

Brilliant build. I just watched your video on how you did it and what it costs. Genius idea and I am impressed with your video making siills too. But what I really envy? That hair. Damn bro, you should be a Brillcream model. 🫵😎👍 (I know you arent old enough to remember Brillcream – google it. 🥷 Stay stealthy.

  45. Docc4USkillz&Plants SKJ on March 4, 2023 at 9:28 am

That is a great interior camper on the go, love the design and outlook field of the van, that is the bomb diggidy

  46. Jose Quintero on March 4, 2023 at 9:29 am

    Beautiful job bro!

  47. A Fit Life By Design on March 4, 2023 at 9:30 am

Nicely done man! I toured my windowless low top cargo van too 🙂
Is your back splash peel and stick too?

  48. TheAmixt2521 on March 4, 2023 at 9:30 am

I love this! All I need is a bed, microwave, fridge and table. I would take it to work to take breaks and eat my lunch in here- away from people. ❤️ Really enjoy my time alone ❤️

  49. Allison Fonner on March 4, 2023 at 9:30 am

Really good build here! I’m glad you showed how you disguised the solar panel!! Top notch engineering right there!! The bed is genius too!

  50. Mohammad Anwar on March 4, 2023 at 9:31 am

    Nice work 💚
