How would you do it to make the item portable? So it could go from apartment to apartment? Not every owner will allow this…and it will be a bear to break down and move.
Thanks very much for this video. Used it to make a room divider in a large lounge but built from the floor up but butting the frames together so they are not sliding. I then incorporated a sliding door to the side using the smaller width wardrobe door. Itโs a brilliant solution! and i used an experienced carpenter to assist In door fixings and glass insert, he also built the timber frame for a labour cost of 195 pounds.
could you please show how you made the FRAME for these? THAT’s what I need to see, to know what to do in my place for my closet. I need to see what you developed in order to install the top rail. Thanks so much! Andrew
I want to create an office
The issue is once you start dividing up the small space, the room will look even smaller with the divider.
I wonder whether a Murphy bed would have been better for the space?

Hoping you see this three years later ๐ I am interested in using a PAX Wardrobe similar to what I see in this video in the background (perpendicular to the wall, instead of anchored parallel to the wall). Did you reinforce or anchor the wardrobe to the wall on its side in anyway, to prevent it from tipping over?

Looks great! I wish it was a little slower so you can actually see what took place during the project. However, it would be nice to see you paint it the same color as your slider. I think that will look wonderful. Blessings

Very coolโinventive!
Why don’t you install the sliding doors on the floor instead of sitting on a wooden frame? Also it would be better to install it wall to wall to conceal the whole tiny bedroom, instead of having a pole sticky out when the door is slides open.

Hi Mark, I really like this idea and Iโm going to use it for my small place. I donโt want to do it myself as Iโm not skilled in this type of work. Am I right in saying I would need a โcarpenterโ to complete work like this? Or just a regular handyman?
