Super Smart Camper Van Design with Lots of Great Ideas! Full Tour
Take a tour of this super smart camper van with tons of great ideas! We first saw this Van Life Mtl campervan at the El Campo meetup in Quebec 2018, and we loved all the features they fit into the space while still keeping it spacious and comfortable.

In this van, there’s a toilet, shower, induction cooktop, solar power system, fridge, running water, swivel seat & extra seating with seatbelts, loads of storage, a heater, not one but two roof vents, and more! Definitely take a peek inside this gorgeous campervan conversion by Van Life Mtl.
This van is insulated with a combination of spray foam, Roxul, and reflectix. It’s a 2018 Dodge Promaster, 159″ wheelbase, and it’s approx. 19 feet long.
To gain extra floor space, they have the bed set up widthwise which gives quite a lot of room to create a longer kitchen, and just more hangout space.
They also have a swivel table from Lagun to create an easy dining area as well.

Nice van tour and design but i would suggest the toilet. I think the place was not suit. It must not in the side of utensils. You can set that under your bed. There is still place there✌️✌️✌️❤️
Lots of wasted space and limited functionality. Example…toilet location. Outdoor shower seems like an afterthought. Much better units out there. Much.

All are great ideas.. except the toilet thing.. I think it needs to replan for it and also this is totally my kind of opinion..
I really liked the layout and quality of the build, great job. More care needs to taken with the electrics though. the routing and harnesses were a mess

I’m actually curious if anyone who does van campers ever thought of using Japanese futon mattresses. Some living spaces in Japan are so small you fold your bed away during the day and use the now open area as a worknspace/living area etc… I can see used in a camper van folded away and only used at night but it could be folded into a couch seat, using the mattress platform as living room space, creating an extra "room"

Remember folks these vans don’t carry enough water to let you boondock for more than 2 or 3 days. If your real conservative
with your water. They always tell your the good stuff and never the negative stuff because their sponsered by the brand.

The shower at the back of the van needs to have someone figure out a way to use a line or something to make it more private … love it all and thank you for sharing !

Having a shower is good, tho I prefer to shower indoors on private. Plus it’s cold outside.

So cool but I didn’t like the model with shower 🚿 outside. It’s not possible to take a shower outside in Canada in winter time. The prices are a bit expensive too.
Under the bed you can just put a foam and its already a room
