Iām crazy about all your videos, your style and personality ( so funny!) and really appreciated all this helpful info, but PB sofas get worse reviews than any other storesā. They used to be great 10+ years ago but their quality (and customer service!) has dropped WAY down. Go anywhere but there for sofas! Yes theyāre great for faux florals, accessories, lamps etc.
Kiva, it seems you have a rectangular living space containing living room and dining room. Not sure if kitchen is open as well. I have same with kitchen separate. After repeated furniture placement, I found that having a sofa or love seat placed horizontal facing the back wall and beyond the dining area, is the best layout. Your other sofa can be against the wall opposite the windows. Have you ever tried this placement? I love it for separating those two spaces.

Love the suggestions. Iāve been looking for new nightstands for years and just canāt find anything I like. right now I have a solid wood Ethan Allen bachelorās chest I found in Goodwill 10-15 years ago fir $20. It works but is not the style I want now. Hopefully once I decide on a new bed, Iāll find something. Iām hoping thatās the reason for the decision block. š

I love your videos! I am currently in the process of remodeling my kitchen and want to redecorate my entire home si this video is perfect for me. I wish I could hire you! I am looking to buy a sectional for my living room and Iām not sure if I should go with the slip on sectional from Pottery Barn or a sectional from Crate and Barrel. Honestly I like the look of the Crate and Barrel sectionals far better and I like that many of their sectionals have legs, which I think looks very elegant and new. Now, I know that it is recommended to buy sofas with legs for small spaces, however my family room is very large. Should I get something with legs for a large family room? Or do sofas with legs also look good in big spaces. I like the look of sofas with legs, plus it makes it a lot easier to clean underneath. Do you know between Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel, who has the best quality and durability?
Turns out the Esters armchair is so low, it could be considered kid-sized. I would love a chair like this, but with normal sizing.

I made the same mistake with the Nissedal mirrors I had my son who lives out of state pick them up for me as they weren’t in stock by me and I sent the link items number etc and ended up with the small ones!

Hi Keva, when you say coming in at #1, does that mean that #1 is best? If l’m doing top 10, l would start at #10, so they would have a reason to wait for countdown to find out, the best, #1.
My 2 furniture finds of this year were the large irregular shaped mirror from zara and the mackenna nightstands from mcgee and co! The mirror is so different and a great entryway piece and the nightstandsā¦ omgā¦ they are so heavy and solid! I thought I couldnt justify the price for a stupid nightstand but it gives such a nice pop of color to my bedroom.

Hi Kiva. I’ve been trawling the designer YouTube space and it’s so hard to find examples of average homes. Most show spaces with vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, or other unique architecture. Honestly, it’s discouraging as an average person with an average house. If you had a playlist where you only show off designs in these smaller homes, I think it would get a lot of traction.

Kiva, this was an amazing video! So informative! Need more videos like this! Interesting you mentioned the Harmony & the Andes Sofa! I wanted the Harmony so bad but found it not to be comfortable. I thought it wasnāt easy to get up and down so I went with the Andes which was a bit firmer and worked a little better for my needs.
I have a Harmony sofa "dupe" that I bought from an individual who buys scratch & dent furniture from online auctions. She sold it to me for $300, I adore it.

What would you suggest for a small bedroom with a king bed and tufted head board that does not allow for 2 night stands that match our dressers? Off set the bed, get rid of the tufted headboard? weāve tried different night stands and none seem to be tall enough (high thick mattress with box spring).. so stumped š
