Great tip for poo. The girl contraptions are messy though. Take it from a girl- squat and hold a large cup beneath yourself instead. No splatter. No drips. Pour cup out into nature and off you go.
I saw a YouTuber put a long plastic hose and put the woman peeing gadget on top and lead it right outside her van. After she pees she spray water+vinegar and that is it. Well, I think it is ok because many do pees right on the bushes right- I think I have to do the same for myself.

Hell, you could always hold it in. On Apollo 8, Bill Anders refused to use the defecation system and didn’t go #2 for 6 days and 3 hours. Upon return to Earth though, had to forgo the welcome ceremonies aboard the recovery aircraft carrier and just barely made it to the toilet.
Had the same idea for the urinal, but with a slow drip release 😉
One thing I think not enough van life videos mention, is the importance of a healthy diet. If one is eating a lot of fruits, veggies, roughage, and not too much junk, it REALLY helps make for a cleaner, regular timed, healthy feeling movement. Takes some of the drama out if number two time.

This is exactly what I’m doing in my van.. same toilet etc.. I do put litter in the bag first and do a shake for coverage 👌🏻 get a litter genie 👌🏻 does WONDERS when throwing the bag away
Im going with 5gallon bucket painted black to heat it in the sun with gamma lid.
Then i can use the bucket for
Poop double bag system
Shower with a tabo
Washing clothes
Storage
Place to seat
Stepping stol
Cleaning things with the tabo
And you always have a bucket with you.

What brand of compostable bag do you use? Seems like an awfully wasted of an entire garbage bag for a single duce. Maybe comfortable dog bags could work, but it’s still going to a landfill. Composting it would be better, but but hualing that around doesn’t sound any fun. that’s the compomise you have to make for convenience I suppose.

Exactly, I just don’t get how driving around with your poop and having to maintain/clean a toilette is somehow less gross than going in a bag, wet wipes and chucking it out. Definitely a cleaner solution than a service station bathroom, lol.
I prefer my C-Head composting toilet. Never smells and the two of us get up to a month before it needs to be emptied of number 2’s. Bagging and disposing everytime seems like a hassle.
yes I agree with grabbing a large glass or what I use in my RV toilet is a 2 liter soda bottle cut in half..it fits perfectly inside the toilet bowl and everytime I sit down on it it’s a perfect aim as far as urine goes..I use regular plastic bags from grocery store..I just make a small tear in the bag first to enlarge the opening to better fit the circumference of the RV toilet. then when I put the toilet seat down it keeps the bag place…

Oh 💩 I nearly spit my coffee out. I just went ahead to CVS and got one of those bedside senior citizen toilets. It’s foldable has the lid and side rails. I line it with two trash bags. It has not smelled ever but I then again, I don’t eat $ h!tty food. I don’t fold mine away. I cover it with blankets and use it as a chair as well. This video was funny though. Thank You ☺️
