I work in a hot seat office. You don’t feel settled, the spaces are filthy because there isn’t any ownership, no privacy, looks good on YouTube, not good for work
This reminds me of The Little Prince
Kinda looks like the place for a supervillain’s HQ. That said, while I do get some people not liking the minimalist look and find it depressing. It can actually be relaxing and clearing for others. Sometimes having too much stuff and additives in one’s surroundings can be distracting and stressful. This is about promoting focus on work. I get it. Some of us DO need our environment to lock us into FOCUS mode or else we might space.
This place looks so calm. Usually offices are so cluttered and loud. I really like this one.

Looks like every shared services office everywhere. Except they do it to save money, not to look posh. Also hotdesking is proven to alienate staff and work against creating good atmosphere and efficient working. So no, I wouldn’t want to work there, because I already works there and it feels both like prison and a place you can be fired from anytime.
"it’s not supposed to feel like home but sharpens the mind?" If I’m spending most of my time here, I want my cubical or office space (which they don’t have) to feel like home. I want to have MY Space with personal items, color, pics, and personality. This is not it
Open work space and being an introvert is not a good mix. We have an open work space office setup and I would work under the table, literally.

I couldn’t share my desk with anyone else. I like to have mine personalized and organize my PC files my own way. having to get a different PC most of the time will just bring confusion IMO
I can’t believe I found this video! I am such a fanboy of Thomas Ingenlath. The guy is a design genius. But wired keyboards? Really? A bit cluttered for my liking.
