  4. Red Wood on June 14, 2022 at 12:35 am

I understand it’s easy to pull up when it’s new, but I wonder how it will be in a few years.?

  5. maurice janssen on June 14, 2022 at 12:35 am

*As an amateur with woodworker, I typically feel **woodplans.works** overpowered with the entire arrangement. Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness. I now work like a genius. That is great!*

  6. MAs World on June 14, 2022 at 12:36 am

Oh yeah standard hardwood floors are $12-$20 a square foot 🤣🤣

  7. mrabrasive51 on June 14, 2022 at 12:37 am

  8. Alex B. on June 14, 2022 at 12:37 am

Hire some Irish Dancers and you get a show and a new floor all in one!

I think you could use the jigg more when drilling in the work bench? Drill the first row, use the al to locate the second row, then go back and do the same for the third. Now you can use the 2 holes on the top and the bottom, this way you eliminate the risk of measuring wrong between the rowes.

Notice the corners broke from the rip

Brilliant system I’m a flooring engineer and this is the future, I’d encourage my customers to buy spare packs for future wear and tear 👍

Teeny tiny sweet little Kim. I wish you would do another video with her.

  14. STOMPDOWN 4 LIFE on June 14, 2022 at 12:48 am

I’ve been installing flooring for over 30 years.
I have worked with all the click and drop and lock systems.
I will be ordering samples for my customer’s it looks like it’s a nice true drop in system my only worry will be if the tracks get damaged in shipping if a tube gets crushed shipping companies are ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL besides that I’m very excited.

  15. Sisqo Kid on June 14, 2022 at 12:51 am

I priced out doing just our living room with this system and they told me it would cost over $8000 for approximately 500 sq. ft. (including $800 for shipping). Seems like the only people to afford this are the very wealthy. We are just middle-class working folks. This is way too much. We are going to have to find a more affordable solution.

    Man I’m thinking secret compartment!

  17. Tom Volken on June 14, 2022 at 12:52 am

Looking to install engineered wood on a slab. The slab has a light moister issue. If I seal the foundation can I glue it down? If so what do you recommend to use for a sealer that I can glue over?

  18. Daurak on June 14, 2022 at 12:52 am

You’d never remove an entire floor for a dented board. It’s called repair…. with heat and dyes if necessary.

  19. Currently Off World on June 14, 2022 at 12:52 am

    Amazing!

  20. Seeking 70 on June 14, 2022 at 12:53 am

And you can work on your Clogging while laying a floor down. Nice bonus.

  21. A.A.A. R on June 14, 2022 at 12:54 am

When it is 5-6 times the price of nailed solid hardwood floor, you will have to think about it.

  22. MAs World on June 14, 2022 at 12:57 am

And please explain to me again how you deal with a 5% seasonal moisture change across a 16’ room ?
    I bet you’d have a skate park

  23. donald corson, sr. on June 14, 2022 at 1:00 am

Can you order the rail system for your own supply of flooring?

  24. Jendar Studio on June 14, 2022 at 1:00 am

Just saw their website, average price is $25 SF. Just think about this, that is $25,000 for 1000 SF of hardwood flooring and then you still have to install it yourself. LOL

  25. Joe on June 14, 2022 at 1:03 am

In hot dry places those plastic clips are going to deteriorate fast.

  26. Noah Foushee on June 14, 2022 at 1:06 am

Man I’d love to install these things! Too bad here in az almost no one wants hardwood flooring now a days

  27. WILSON! on June 14, 2022 at 1:06 am

$12-$20 per square foot? That seems very high.

  28. Eramirton Ferreira Crispim on June 14, 2022 at 1:07 am

  29. Cynthia Ayers on June 14, 2022 at 1:09 am

How can a hard wood floor have a trick, it’s not even alive..?
If so let’s see it do it all by itself, no human help.

  30. Shazad Hussain on June 14, 2022 at 1:10 am

Is it good for bathrooms too?

  31. Rory Gibb on June 14, 2022 at 1:11 am

I want to try this bad

  32. JOHN WILCOXEN on June 14, 2022 at 1:13 am

I notice they didnt install around any door jambs. How would that work? They need to snap straight down. No undercutting the jamb so it looks clean. you would need to cut around the jamb, and of coarse, that would look like shit.

  33. Brian Hensley on June 14, 2022 at 1:13 am

My real question is I have young kids. They come in soaking wet, run out of a tub or spill a bowl of cereal or cup of water. Question is, how water proof is it really?

  34. Patrick Mayer on June 14, 2022 at 1:13 am

  36. Stephanie 7 on June 14, 2022 at 1:18 am

Hello…most of us that are even able to remodel. Sure don’t have $$$$ for that kind of floor. Guess this show isn’t for the middle class.

  37. Eric Jacobson on June 14, 2022 at 1:19 am

    Amazing product!

  38. MeanTuber on June 14, 2022 at 1:19 am

  39. Matt Christopher on June 14, 2022 at 1:21 am

    You mean plastic wood.

  40. Currently Off World on June 14, 2022 at 1:22 am

    Great idea! 👍🏾

  41. Rob on June 14, 2022 at 1:24 am

And when you turn your heater off to go on vacation your entire floor warps.

  42. MagentaRV on June 14, 2022 at 1:24 am

How would this do in an RV? I’m looking for a floating floor to put in the RV I want. Does it come in other flavors of wood? I’m thinking I’d really like to have grade 1 quartersawn maple.

  43. Rxonmymind on June 14, 2022 at 1:25 am

4:42 I see a few boards uneven and coming up. Hmm…. neat idea though.

  44. Aaron Ciesielczyk on June 14, 2022 at 1:26 am

    4, 5, 6 inch board, Matt you don’t know?

  45. F.Jason Arotin on June 14, 2022 at 1:26 am

I used Rubio Monocoat on my red oak floor, 3 years no issue, you can walk on it after a few hours. Have not needed to repair a scratch but your supposed to be able to rub the Rubio into the scratch and it will return the scratch to the same color as the finish. Worked well on my black walnut countertops except for a ring from a galvanized can left next to the sink for several weeks. 2 liters did 1000 sq. Ft. Had I known about the Stellar flooring I would have went with it really good design.

  46. Charles.k Charles.scott.Kelly on June 14, 2022 at 1:27 am

All good till you see the prices.
Then u end up with standard hardwood flooring .

  47. Aldo D on June 14, 2022 at 1:28 am

I would never buy lamanent it’ll cost you twice as much in the long run. I just have no carpet in my 5 bedroom 2 kitchen house just place rugs. All hardwood and granite.

  48. OWG Garage on June 14, 2022 at 1:30 am

  49. Sardar Nasim on June 14, 2022 at 1:31 am

    Genius!

  50. GregoryJA on June 14, 2022 at 1:31 am

Curious why you didn’t select this for the flooring in your new house, Matt?
