I’m a 90% reformed pom-hater thanks to your channel! <3 Beautiful and thoughtful work here!

  2. miraxterrik on February 15, 2022 at 10:58 pm

Those tiles look horrible, totally not my style, and not sure it fits the space. plus they look like they have gaps between the tiles, like I can see where one ends and where the other begins.

  3. piggyduff on February 15, 2022 at 10:59 pm

I like what you’re doing, but quality of finish is important, even in rentals.

  4. Lola Rose on February 15, 2022 at 11:00 pm

    Good effort. Functionality will win!
I believe a basket over the shoe cabinet will take care of the mail, really the little wire basket not too practical.
And the penny tile too busy for that entry way!! not a fan of the stair runner either Oh man please realize that I am only offering some well meant comments!!! Many hugs

  5. Alejandra Varela on February 15, 2022 at 11:00 pm

My face when I saw how they were laying down the tile 👁👄👁

Wait this doesn’t seem like what renters would be doing to their rental I’m confused???

  9. phobilao on February 15, 2022 at 11:02 pm

I think the infamous little bench is no longer available at structube. Could you link similar? Thanks!

  10. Chanda Russell-Koesling on February 15, 2022 at 11:04 pm

Well done. It’s a great entryway with lots of style. Where do you get all your picture frames?

  11. Senga Sembuche on February 15, 2022 at 11:04 pm

Awesome renovation and great taste overall. I love the artwork from desenio. Sadly they do NOT ship worldwide… unless viewers from countries in Africa aren’t considered to be part of the “World” that would appreciate their pieces. 😔

  12. Alexandra Stevens on February 15, 2022 at 11:04 pm

    Looks really welcoming

  13. Heidi Harris on February 15, 2022 at 11:06 pm

Oof. That tile job is rough :/

  14. Tomasz Beranczykowski on February 15, 2022 at 11:07 pm

did you leave Noah at least one coat/jacket lol? it looks like there’s only your bags and coats left xddd

  15. FlareArtist on February 15, 2022 at 11:10 pm

You knocked this one out of the park Alexandra! Love the final look.

  16. Sue Allen on February 15, 2022 at 11:10 pm

Didn’t like the penny tiles and they were not done properly and the stair carpet is not done properly which would drive me nuts!!!!

  17. Kimberly Head on February 15, 2022 at 11:11 pm

What kind of a agreement do you have with your landlord? Does the homeowner pay for materials???

  18. Coked Classic on February 15, 2022 at 11:13 pm

Oooff what a mess that beautiful tile ended up. 🙁 completely jealous of having an entryway.

  19. Lisa Eason on February 15, 2022 at 11:14 pm

  21. Heather Smedley on February 15, 2022 at 11:19 pm

What misaligned tiles? Are you talking about before the grouting?

  22. Charles Ming on February 15, 2022 at 11:19 pm

Your poor husband. You chucked all his coats out from the entry way so you could hang three handbags and a one of your capes. That’s not fair. I give it two weeks and your hooks will be double layered with coats again.

  23. HarvestLuna on February 15, 2022 at 11:20 pm

Let’s hide all of Noah’s unsightly sh*t…in baskets!

  24. D KAL on February 15, 2022 at 11:20 pm

Absolutely great work!!!!🥰🥰🥰 Greetings from Greece!!

maybe you did not know, but if that pink print represents cranes, two cranes symbolize gradual progress in chinese book of change, so not only it is pink and would go with the other staircase runner, it is a gentle reminder of progressive harmonious relationship, even if you are not into feng shui much. i have the same black wire thing for letters, only with key hooks at the bottom.. and still have to finnish repainting an old shoe cabinet. so i congratulate you on your progress.

  26. Patricia Kelly on February 15, 2022 at 11:23 pm

    Very inspirational. Well done.

  27. Abby Blazzer on February 15, 2022 at 11:24 pm

Wow love it as with all your makeovers. However what would you do if it was winter and needed alot of jackets and coats out? Im doing and entryway right now with same dilima. Thinking about putting curtains over hooks to make it more appealing. Help SOS

  28. Ellen Harrison on February 15, 2022 at 11:24 pm

My first time watching. Love your dramatic stairs! Inspired me to do something similar with mine! Been trying to figure out what to do since my cat ruined the carpet on the top stair.

  29. C G on February 15, 2022 at 11:24 pm

    SO good.

  30. Laurence on February 15, 2022 at 11:26 pm

Dont you still need your winter jackets in summer in Toronto? Roflol

  31. L on February 15, 2022 at 11:27 pm

Maybe laws are different in Canada, but what if your landlords must sell the house, or if they suddenly separate, and are inundated with lawsuits? Or they increase the rent? You must have spent a fortune on paint, tiling, and decor. I wish you to protect yourself. Here in the US that’s setting yourself up for eviction, where they know they can now get much more in rent. Landlord/tenant “laws” here are a joke.

  32. Nicole Bamonte on February 15, 2022 at 11:31 pm

The tile and the shoe cabinet just seem like rush jobs :/ and its going to be so annoying to try and remember what is in each bin, and that is usually when my organization stops working. Love this in theory, just not the execution!

  33. Sandie Edward on February 15, 2022 at 11:31 pm

Is it me or did you just hide all evidence of Noah from your hallway makeover.. no a sweater, jacket, or boots of his in site ?? Just Saying…

  34. Ursula Simmons on February 15, 2022 at 11:33 pm

I have an entryway problem I’d love to see an example solution to. Appx 3’x8′ narrow hall. The wall behind the door is as wide as the door, about 3′ followed by a 4.5′ double door closet. The side of the door that opens has 1′ of wall followed by another double door 4.5′ closet. All hardware is renters silver and showing on all three doors. Uhhgg!

  35. Michelle Pereira on February 15, 2022 at 11:33 pm

Great makeover. I don’t particularly like the black penny tiles, would have preferred something more interesting. The organization with baskets is so nice and the shoe holder is a great idea and of course adding art just puts the icing on the cake.

  36. bruely82 on February 15, 2022 at 11:36 pm

You are amazing! Thank you for share all your brilliant ideas, you are such an inspiration!

  37. Vickie Jones on February 15, 2022 at 11:36 pm

    The space looks great

  38. Frith Barbat on February 15, 2022 at 11:39 pm

Lovely entry. I am concerned about the stair runner. If you are at all distracted walking down, or wear glasses, the fact that some stairs have a black stripe at the edge and on others it’s below the tread, is going to confuse the brain and you might step too far, or not far enough, and fall. Don’t ask me how I know this. Consistent visual messaging is critical for safety on stairs. I was an interior designer and pattern on floor is one thing that is covered in great detail in training.

  39. Debbie Z on February 15, 2022 at 11:41 pm

You must have a very agreeable landlord that doesn’t mind the upgrades, however I agree with the tile installation, especially since it is a rental. Should have been laid out beforehand and approved by the landlord to make sure he/she was happy with the impending layout and install.

  40. Connie Breines on February 15, 2022 at 11:43 pm

In my bedroom closet on the floor i have a bag of scarves..a bag of small travel bags..a bag of handbags..yes i am a bag hoarder.
    🥳

  41. Jen F on February 15, 2022 at 11:45 pm

You did a great job but I can’t help but notice that you make the space yours and your boyfriends stuff is nowhere. His things are hidden away while yours is on display. Just an observation 🤷‍♀️

  42. Lisa Smith on February 15, 2022 at 11:45 pm

Too many bags on the hooks, less is more

  43. ERIKA ATONDO on February 15, 2022 at 11:47 pm

Where did that 3 crane print go?? I Did not see it at all in the final reveal. I liked that print!!

  47. Christy Milo on February 15, 2022 at 11:52 pm

I thought tile was meant to be grouted? It looks great, but I wonder how hard it will be to vacuum

  48. Alicia and Family on February 15, 2022 at 11:53 pm
