I did the starch fabric trick on the back panel of my IKEA bookcases and it looks great, even years later. Very reality based makeover

Wow…. His apartment is small….. And what they did was great. It turned his place into a cozy apartment….. I’ve had studios before… And one I thought was small…. But it was bigger than his place….. And I like his place a lot too…. It’s small… Very small…… But it’s super cozy. And I like that.

You are such fun – I loved the white shelf that fell off – you are absolutely brilliant and have the gift to laugh at yourself but also to work hard and make it fun and show that one doesn’t have to be perfect, but to give everything their ‘all’. Hopefully people will follow your style – just wonderful! Psyche aka Psyche Thompson UK 🌹

You used the byproduct left over juice from making crack to put up wall paper. Thats one to grow on😎.

A safety tip for those with long hair who plan on using a drill, or something similar. Be sure to first put your hair up out of the way so that it doesn’t get caught in the drill while it’s rotating. That will save you from getting scalped.

Loved the fabric hack. My teen son always gets the walls filthy in his room as we rent and the paint is the standard cheap low quality apartment flat paint that shows everything. I’m going to attempt to do this weekend. You made it seem effortless. Hope I have the same experience ! I love how the contrasting bedding looks against the wall. I also would love to add the shelving around the room . One step at a time. Ty for the ideas ! New subscriber.

How incredibly sweet and gorgeous!! 💖💖💖💖💖

  33. T Lee on May 24, 2022 at 10:32 pm

That wall cover hack is super. I have been using cloth on walls instead of painting or wall paper since moved to The Netherlands. knew would be moving so did not want to have to do work ink rentals so made frames for cloth.on walls. This ins so easy and can take it off. Thank you!!!! Now hopefully can find the starch. different chemical laws here..keep up the good practical work..love it.

  35. Shelly Jay on May 24, 2022 at 10:33 pm

    Really turned out nice

  36. alison waverly on May 24, 2022 at 10:34 pm

All I could think of was… "where is the bathroom"??

  37. Lee Morrison on May 24, 2022 at 10:35 pm

Sorry major FAIL! DID IT EVER OCCUR TO YOU TO LEVEL THE PATTERN OF THE SHEET ON THE WALL??? THE PATTERN SLANTS TO THE LEFT AND LOOKS LIKE 💩! SORRY…..SHOULD HAVE DONE A WOOD PLANK INSET OR SOMETHING??? ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT CHEAP SHEET. THEY MAKE PEEL AND STICK WALLPAPER THAT IS REMOVABLE THAT LOOKS LIKE LEATHER, WOOD, STONE OR.BRICK. Would have been a MUCH better option. Sorry…just being honest….. 😝

The key hook part reminds me of the prison officer scene in midnight express… William Haaaaayes 😂😂😂

The tone on tone bedding with the long throw pillow is amazing!

As someone who lives in a tiny apartment, I really liked this makeover. You made it tidy and spacious at the same time.

I myself have a huge freezer in the closet. 😁

And I also loved the way you and Chelsea worked together. I would love to see her back more times as your assistant.

Great job but if you could stop giving men all the credit for brains, Grandma would appreciate it.

  45. Mavicity Relayson on May 24, 2022 at 10:41 pm

Dying because you cut the fabric from the bottom not to level out the pattern above T_T

  46. Gemma Selby on May 24, 2022 at 10:41 pm

Would have Loved to have Seen the Kitchen ..
    Is there a Bathroom ?
    I Love This Studio !!

I don’t how I got to this channel but I absolutely love what you did and the fact that you were so transparent with the process!

Most of these channels don’t show you all the different hurdles that pop up during a make over, so when you try it yourself and it doesn’t go well you feel defeated.

    New sub!

  48. Beverly Novak on May 24, 2022 at 10:49 pm

Good job…. Simple organized ideas for simple small places. Suggestion: cut the fabric/sheet in the pattern line….it was crooked. But awesome hack with making it a wallpaper!

  49. judy mcfadden on May 24, 2022 at 10:50 pm

You made this super cute! I am glad that you even show your mistakes, it’s definitely honest!

  50. M Cuz on May 24, 2022 at 10:50 pm

I love that you included the fails. That is real life and it made this video much more relatable. Great job on the space!
