You should probably talk to some Ukrainians, you may find a different point of view (from actual experience) to your idea of this war. There may be a lot of truth about what you say concerning the big companies, but I’d argue that this is the one conflict that the USA is right to get involved in. And do you have figures for how many American lives have been lost in Ukraine, as a result of your government sending them there?

Regarding Maren Morris, that appears to be her real name. Initially I thought it was a stage name taken after John Wayne’s real name, Marion Morris. I listened to a half dozen of her songs. She is no great talent, no Loretta Lynn or Patsy Cline. And Maren comes along in a difficult time for Country Music, a time when it seems the only way to get promotion and get ahead in the business is to attack your own audience, which is young working-class white people. Most of her songs seem to be negative critiques of whats left of white America. This strategy has its limitations, of course. The only hopeful thing I found in her song catalog was a weak cover of The Rolling Stone’s great Country hit, "Dead Flowers," which was released on perhaps their best studio album "Sticky Fingers" in 1971. So perhaps Maren will eventually start listening to Merle Haggard albums and cover some of his hits. I can think of no better way for young white people to discover who they are and what their culture really is than to listen the voices of our great singing poets from the past.

Thank you for mentioning Gonzalo again. I heard a few days ago that his kangaroo trial had started. The corruption goes way beyond the Bidens. They are no more than the tip of the swampberg. Aside from insane neocons like Yikki "Cookies" Nuland, who simply hate Russia and have no other considerations, this is a confrontation to determine global control. Ukraine has been the showcase for Western technocratic tyranny. China and Russia have their own forms of tyranny–we they have deep cultures that are intrinsically different from Europe’s and America’s (which is again intrinsically different from Europe’s–you are very American). Both the Chinese and Russians seem pretty happy by and large with their respective, highly different tyrannies.

I live 180 miles from the front. I’ll tell you this, the first American missile that drops in my town…Let’s put it this way, I consider it an attack by the United states against the Russian homeland and I believe we should respond in kind. That means missiles on US cities! Don’t think for a minute we don’t have the capability. Imagine how many of our subs are off the American coast right now.
