Can’t close up and separate rooms if I have an open concept. Glad I don’t constantly follow trends, just update the decor because it’s a big expense to change floors and anything for that matter.
Hurray for a warmer color palette! I always thought the gray trend was cold, stark, and industrial looking: perfect for an office but not for a home.
I Do need a work space but my house is small i dont have space for it. i do need to remodel my kitchen i do like white but i dont find a backslash that attract me because i dont want subway tiles
I am grayed out!! It is like everything else….it comes back eventually…just do what you like!
I don’t like the trends especially not the greens and warm tones! I hate two tones kitchens and wood cabinets! I hate things that are new and look old. 😩I was sooo excited when the greys and cool tones came in style and not ready to let it go…I also love open concept it’s easier with children and when entertaining…my in-laws have a huge house 2003 style all seperate rooms and it’s not inviting

I think I check most of those boxes ahah! I moved in last year and decorate everything with natural color and material, with some plants and dried flower, vintagy furniture and decorations, etc

I’m so glad that white/gray is going away. Having rented for my entire adult life (20+ years) I am DONE with white everywhere!
When I finally buy a house, I figure I’ll have paint it 2x. Once in all the colors I’ve missed. Second to tone it down and coordinate throughout after my eyes start bleeding! 🙃

I loooooved everything except the separation concept. I have little kids and I love I can cook and they’re playing in a living room and I can keep an eye on them. I love open spaces and I wont probably change my mind because it’s not trendy anymore 🙂
Trends scare me so much!! I’m about to start redoing my kitchen this weekend and I feel like I just decided to go as versatile and REGULAR with the bones of it as possible because sheeeeet imagine spending all this money on something only to find out it’s out of style just like that 😩 just gonna do me because the biggest trend of 2021 is to save your coins!!! Lol! I can never just follow trends because they change so quickly.

I love the new trends, feels more warm, cozy, and like a home. Maybe because of the lockdown. In the past, everything was white maybe because it was the start of the influencer era and they all wanted a clean white background. I love these changes.

You know what you should do!😆 You should create a way for people to send photos of their space and you can give advice on ways to style it. Like paint or whatever. Lol or just come to my 🏠 😁
Love the warm tone trend! So modern yet cozy!
Well…we just happened to remodel our whole downstairs and kitchen/dining area last year. New luxury vinyl planks, warm oak, for the floors. Had our dark (almost black) cabinets painted white, but kept the tan pulls. And had white/tan marblized stone countertops installed. Our appliances are beige. Who knew we would be in style! We just did what WE wanted! It’s what I would call a "modern farmhouse ". I have a huge collection of baskets that I have sprinkled around. Since our living room furniture is a tan color, I found a nice geometric rug with blues, brown and tan colors to break up the neutral colors. Yes, I’m the same person who bought those blue ornaments from IKEA for our new tree this year! The tree was a hit, even my husband loved it! Our home is nice and cozy for us two. I can’t wait for my daughter and her family to see it! As soon as all this mess is calmed down…"sigh"
I’m moving into my new house in 2 months so this is perfect! I can’t wait to incorporate all these tricks into our new place 🥰
