The ONLY bathroom I like is at minute 3. But I do not like that deep green/teal whatever. I would pick up the light color in the floor.

Hi Lisa, why tub + shower combo not ok?

  3. Maria Trotter on February 27, 2021 at 10:17 pm

My powder room is truly a reflection of me. French toile curtains, interesting marble table with believe it or not collection of beautiful books from Tiffany, David Tutera and Chanel etc. comfy and cozy and smell like eucalyptus

You’re awesome!!! Your energy is infectious. I can’t stop watching. Thanks so much!

    love the marble trend!

  6. Neil Lingle on February 27, 2021 at 10:21 pm

All so great… but in 5 years it’s outdated

  7. Samantha Link on February 27, 2021 at 10:21 pm

You are amazing!!! Thank you for all the inspiration. I just bought my house and I am redoing some parts of my half bath- since it is kind of plain and boring. Thank you for all the ideas!!

  8. Shannon Richardson on February 27, 2021 at 10:24 pm

Question about smaller 3 pc bathroom as a main bathroom. Would you still suggest getting rid of the tub/shower combo?

  9. Carlos Rodriguez on February 27, 2021 at 10:24 pm

Serious question. Tankless toilets…what happens when something goes wrong with the tank? Take the whole wall apart?

  10. Karen Brown on February 27, 2021 at 10:25 pm

Lisa, you lead the pack!! Soo… knowledgeable.

  11. Rebekah Hawks on February 27, 2021 at 10:25 pm

I am remodeling a tiny bathroom. Is it better to use small tiles or large tiles to visually expand the space?

  12. Marjorie Judge on February 27, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Just an FYI — When we were doing 2 bathrooms, the people at ferguson were terribly rude and left us waiting out in the showroom for 40 minutes until I ventured back into the employee section and found the "sales person" that was assigned to the project just sitting at her desk – I was going to change plumbing contractors due to her behavior except the plumber had already done some work to the project – I will never purchase from ferguson (the manager finally helped me finish fine tuning all the fixtures)- – also the Kohler sinks we bought from ferguson are cheap , one of them cracked all the way through after 5 years in my elderly mother’s bathroom and the water saver kohler toilets waste water because you have to flush twice and they are not easy to keep clean – I will never buy another Kohler toilet and hope that American Standard will be better for the basement toilet I want to replace….when we did a kitchen reno i just went to a local plumbing supplier

Those tankless style scares me. I’ve had the chain snap in my tank and I’m not about to open my wall to fix it

    What’s a powder room?

  17. lamoabird on February 27, 2021 at 10:30 pm

Love ur energy and designs, but they are definitely not for the average family home and the ‘I have to work to live’, like me.

    You’re fun and groovy!

  19. mrsrackleff on February 27, 2021 at 10:31 pm

Love these! Absolutely beautiful! I’m not seeing medicine cabinets much in newer upscale bathrooms. Would you have a suggestion for how to have access to everyday use items like toiletries without the standard mirrored medicine cabinet?

  20. cindy templer on February 27, 2021 at 10:32 pm

Wow!! You are amazing! You have such great ideas and make everything entertaining. Every video I watch from you helps me so much, plus you just have the best personality! So fun… Thanks so much, for being so awesome at what you do!!

So long as they’re not beige, I’m happy. Beige interiors are such a yawn.

  22. evita pieron on February 27, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Tankless toilets, hidden fixtures, bidettes have been popular in Europe for over twenty years. In contrast, we dont enclose toilets, also place bathtubs in bedrooms and hardly ever use tales on all walls. Greetings

  23. Cathy Lehman on February 27, 2021 at 10:34 pm

I laughed out loud about decorating the powder room in "your deepest you". That is kind of scary when it comes to my fearless personality with color, style, textures. Thx for the encouragement!

  24. Vera Giles on February 27, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Thanks, Lisa! After all the vast bathrooms with 10 tonnes of Italian Marble and you mentioned ‘powder room’ I chuckled but then I remembered our tiny cloakroom awaiting plumbing and decorating. So exciting! I have a Deco style basin but need a fab mirror and lighting. What colour for small, east facing room in the grey UK? Could I do a rich colour?!

I love that idea of making the powder room the biggest statement of one’s personality!

  28. Emily Guerrier on February 27, 2021 at 10:40 pm

I am curious as to why designers never specify shower bases as part of bathroom remodels?

  29. David Pollard on February 27, 2021 at 10:40 pm

I love your personality!!! Tv networks really should be fighting (but in a nice way – I don’t condone violence 😬) to get you your own show. Work it girl, work it, work it, work it. 🤗🤗🤗

I LOVE SW Pure White and am using it in the hall and kitchen walls. The bathroom walls (just off that white hallway) are SW Believable Buff with Pure White trim. Here’s my dilemma: If I paint the bathroom vanity, does Pure White look right? Or, should I paint it SW Antique White and update the trim in the bath only to Antique White? Or, can I mix Pure White on the trim with Antique White on the vanity? Your feedback sure would be appreciated!

  31. T.S on February 27, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Hi Lisa, thank you for your exciting video. We are in the process of remodeling a small bathroom. I have fallen in love with the vanity you describe as "peachy with natural wood". Also, the counter top is beautiful as well. Could you let me tell me what website this ensemble is sold? I didn’t have much luck with IKEA. Also looked into semihomemade. Could not find either vanity or counter top. Now that I have fallen in love this this vanity, I must have it!

  32. QiQi on February 27, 2021 at 10:45 pm

can you give some tips on how to make home bathroom like a spa?

  33. Donna Bowman on February 27, 2021 at 10:45 pm

How could anyone do this on an average budget? Edit: she said "go to town on it" I need money first. This is for people with real money, not making what the average American makes. Ugh..I can only dream, but I will say I’m happy with what I’ve got. When I pass people that live in tents and are homeless. You betcha I’m thankful…🙏🙏🙏

USA: hidden plumbing and pending porcelain is Bathroom Trend 2020
Germany: that is a standard bathroom

  36. Jeff Boetig on February 27, 2021 at 10:52 pm

Awesome! . YES -Wallpaper in powder is reasonable, even if its super expensive – its a small room. There are some Super Sleek Toilets a (new floor mount for existing bathrooms) from American Standard Studio S1 and the new Kohler Veil – both very reasonable….

  37. Jen on February 27, 2021 at 10:54 pm

That black half shell tile. TO DIE FOR. Japanese Teak Soaking Bath, also to die for- for the serious soaker.

  38. Barbara Koch on February 27, 2021 at 10:55 pm

Im confused. I see a lot of blues and greens in these bathrooms. I watched your paint video about picking colors. You said "no blue or greens in bathrooms because they make people look sick" Blue and green or no blue and green in bathrooms. I have green and I felt terrible . 🙁 I thought I had made a huge mistake. Even though everyone who sees my bathroom loves the color.

  39. Terisa Lund on February 27, 2021 at 10:57 pm

I think the blue bathroom shower is beautiful!! Now, how do you keep it looking that way.? Do you have hard water? If it only looks good right after being cleaned what is the point? Are you willing to wipe it down after every shower? How much maintenance is involved? I’m a professional high end housekeeper and I run into this all the time. Looks beautiful in photos but how much thought was put into upkeep? Usually none. Function and maintenance of function before form.

  40. Barbara Packard on February 27, 2021 at 10:58 pm

I love, love, love your videos. I bought a 100 year old bungalow and the bathroom is 5′ x 5′. Yikes. Your bathrooms are dreamy. Great inspiration.

  41. Nanette Kujawa on February 27, 2021 at 10:58 pm

I love the tubs. Everything else is way too specific . For my taste. I hate things stuck with 1 or 2 colours. I think I would keep it white so I could change it up anytime I want But, That’s just me

The tankless toilets look so ugly to me.

  44. deftauntie on February 27, 2021 at 11:01 pm

I’m all for the spa statement trend especially nowadays 🧖🏻‍♀️ I’m already doing spa stuff minus the relaxing background 😅

  45. KK Lenton on February 27, 2021 at 11:01 pm

Do you have any suggestions for those of us who have a more modern cottage with a powder room/laundry combo by the front entrance?

  46. curvyquill on February 27, 2021 at 11:03 pm

Somehow bathrooms seem to be somewhat different when I compare to the ones we have in Finland. I’d say we started getting rid of the bathtubs in the 80’s and having one nowadays at least in a condo is a sure telltale sign that the bathroom hasn’t been renovated since the 70’s. Also wooden floors in a bathroom!O.O And having wallpaper in a powder room makes me feel uneasy, though I guess it should be fine. Wouldn’t like that for myself though. It tends to be 100% tiles, except for the ceiling. I love the blue tiles, though probably we’ll end up with grey or brown, because that’s what the renovation company has to offer (they’re fixing the plumbing for the whole building and it comes with an offer of certain tiles that we get to choose from – I’m sure picking our own would be fine, but it would cost us more, and bathrooms are expensive).

  47. Adrienne Boullianne on February 27, 2021 at 11:06 pm

my house was built in the 50s– robin egg blue tiles with maroon trim. i’m thinking about painting the maroon tiles another color, bc theyre in such great shape and i really love the blue. those tiles you showed in the third bathroom with the aqua shower tiles would be perfect. what’s your opinion on painted tiles? i wanted to paint the floor, too. thanks for another great video!
