About The Nomadic Millennials:
We are Jon and Ray, a couple from Seattle, WA. We are full-time van lifers, traveling the US with our dog JJ, in our converted Promaster “Road Dreamer” or “Roadie” for short. We make videos about traveling to new places, what it’s like living in a van, and tips/tricks to help fellow van lifers. We hope to inspire others to try new things, alternative ways of living, and to explore the beautiful world we live in. We post new videos every Sunday. We appreciate your support on our journey!

Thk u guys 🙏
I really like the layout of your van. I especially like the fact that the toilet is separate from the shower because I don’t think I would want a wet bathroom. The only question I have is, how do you use the air-conditioning when your bed is all the way up?
Hi Guys. New subscriber here. Just wanted to thank u 4 a really great video with great pros n cons for different designs. Keep up the great work!

Keep up the informative videos. Great job. Love that you showed the bathroom in the back. I have never seen that before in a van.
Great job fellas, amazing… 😊
If you have no garage (which also gives much cupboard room on the other side) you basically set yourself up for many problems. THis couple themselves even had that happen by not having a a place to put their dirty laundry. A garage space would have instantly solved that problem. Every time I see a van with no garage space I always think that’s a van for van tourists moving from camp ground to camp grounds for holidays instead of actual van lifers. Also, only a van with a garage space can offer secondary transportation mostly in the form of a bicycle (foldable or not). Imagine to have to take a big van everywhere you go. Also, you can have a shower AND a garage, there are builds who have a set up shower near the entry with a draining area on the floor worked in. Also about windows, yeah you lose heat but the bigger problem is in the sun and when it’s hot it turns into a baking oven.
Buen vídeo 👌 gracias

Can’t help it….
You should count your "umm", "so ___"
If you can reduce these filler words, your presentation will sound more smooth and polished.
Y’all are super cute ♥️
The Murphy bed is the option I choose because of my height, you can leave it made up and folded out of the way.
still waffling after the first minute…. gave up watching
Me : my van has to be as big as possible
Them : my van has to be as small as possible
Me : WTF u don’t need space ???
YES. need more meta videos like this.
U two r so cute together ❤️❤️❤️
I am working on s van idea that is a little different because i am single and wanted versatility. The start is i am putting in a twin bed going long ways in the van that uses Murphy bed hinges and a center split to hing up then i could remove the under storage to give me a 4 by 6 area to use for transporting supplies and bigger items. then i am doing a seating for 2 in the next 2 feet. one side will have a fold up Japaneses soaking tub with a fold out upper cabinets to hold a shower curtains and under it to use the soaking stub as a shower pan. On the other side holds the emergence toilet. The idea is this way I could 4 uses for the back half limited cargo, flying solo with the twin bed with ways and table for 2, U shaped table, or Queen bed
Yes! Love the bed area.
Like the windows! Is there a breakdown of your cost? Thanks

i think i want the same as your lay out. Only i want to keep the standing hight. to do that i want to try to fit a murfy bed, side ways. in the couch area on the left side. half the depth of the bathroom. which folds down to reveal a propper bed. and when it is folded up. on the vertical wall. there is a fold down table on pivot hinges… that means easy fold up table, nothing in the floor space, in seating area. and in the rear a wider bench. I hope i can make it fit!!!
I am already determined to get a van as for 2 or 3 months. I just wanted other layout ideas. I wish I could show you the layout i came up with my van
