Sitting and standing are equally bad for your back and joints. Sitting-standing desks doesn’t do anything for you. The only way to protect yourself from back pain is to go for a few minutes stretches and small walks around every hour of work. Sitting-standing desks is just overpriced bullshit. It makes more sense to spend on a good orthopedic chair and make sure you moving and stretching during a day.

I have an uplift L shape solid wood and my biggest discouragement is how easy it scratches. Moved my Apple keyboard and it put a huge scratch. I would go laminate next time
