I am redoing my outdoor area. I will not buy an outdoor rug anymore, they always end up moldy.I have several times and I am always disappointed.

The furniture in our guest bedroom is a white wicker looking design. My husband bought the chest of drawers at an estate sale. Then he found a cedar chest at a different estate sale. It must have been a popular selling item where we live. I have a lot of plants. I’m not sure where I’m going to keep them all. We get great light here. At my old house we had terrible light. I killed every plant I owned. Now I have a whole lot. I need to buy a plant stand and put it somewhere safe. I have three small dogs. And we have a lot of cats outside. So near a front window is not going to work. Even the back windows don’t work. I guess I’ll fill every table I own with plants. My husband bought me a beautiful orchid for Valentine’s Day. And it’s a shock it still has flowers on it and it’s still doing well. I have killed every other orchid I’ve had. It’s in my bedroom on my dresser. And it’s doing great. That’s the only flower I own. I did buy a peace lily. Maybe it will bloom also.

Love this video! Love your designer eye on a realistic budget! Would you have any tips on upgrading window treatments in a rental? I have hideous vertical blinds in a duplex created in 1920! Such a mismatch! Any tips would be greatly appreciated on finding how to get affordable chic blinds and drapes

We moved mid summer last year. We purchased great outdoor furniture…but I didn’t ‘decorate’ the great space. This year, I’m definitely getting a rug, throw pillows & a throw. Now to wait for warmer weather!

Agree 100% about using faux flowers. I have them for all four seasons. This includes faux fruits. Not feeling the floral wallpaper though

Love your videos! My self care space is my sunroom with large windows, a comfy chair, and good books. I also have a little electric fireplace for cold days/nights. I can’t wait to get my outdoor space cleaned and ready to enjoy. I’m so ready for spring 🌷

I’ve used thred up and bought some gorgeous clothing! The one caveat is CHECK THE CONDITION! I accidentally ordered something that came in really pilled and used bc I forgot to check the condition before buying. I have had such a great experience with thred up. I would love to bring in florals for spring and summer, but my cat eats the fake florals and gets sick! I love my cat, but it is really annoying!
We plan to add some Adirondack chairs to our very private front yard! Also I love your coverage on a self-care space. For me that is my art corner in one of our bedrooms that I want to improve and make more permanent this year.
