I’m into camping, so some of Hesse ideas can be used in a small camper. So innovative, great ideas!

I hope you enjoy this episode! It’s so great to look back over some of our last videos and all the super clever uses of space. This week, after a strict lockdown, New Zealand has just moved to level 1, which means our country is (for now at least) totally Covid free. This is super exciting and means that we will be able to start filming new video tours locally. So, brand new tiny house tours coming soon! Love, Bryce & Rasa

Too much stuff. Consumerism drives the need for bigger Tiny Houses that are not so tiny after all.

Lack of respect for self. causes people to do extrordinary things. Fear also does this to them, but at a different level. If you know yourself well enough, insanity may bother you, but it won’t change it to do things you may regret, unless maybe at the verge of death. The answer to this question is simple, but yet there are so many approaches to the problem , that it is endless and changing. Really depends which world you live in. This has no say on rich and poor, but it does have to do with a naive knowledge of where and who you are. Some may understand somethings, but others dive head first and feet in. This is a way to say I have no answers, but solutions from things I am experienced to and experienced in based on my philosiphy and understanding of myself and the basic basic things I know. I do not expect and I do not try to solve, what isn’t mine to know. That isn’t to say, I will ever stop trying to know what’s behind each crack, key hole, and door. I expect answers to things and do not need anyone to give me solutions to things I know without a second glance. I do not need people ever, and do not expect people to feed me things because they need to , but either they want to because of a self respect they give themselves or a respect I have shown, if they have never seen it elsewhere. I am only as dangerous as the limits you push, and the things I have tried to see, but you have kept hidden. In a way we are the same, but you have shown me your depths and cracked door, and I have shown and placed a wall around the heart of the matter, only for my heart to be out in the open to play and hold things for theoretical nonsense, that I see fit at that time and period. If you do see the matter around the heart, there is fire, and depending who you are, will know the dangers of stepping too close to the flame. There are words on the wall, and they stand still for all to see. If your smart, you know, and if you don’t. don’t regret living a life worth knowing. This is something I have not taken apart yet, but do find meaning in not knowing something for what it says, but slowly finding out, till the day I need it, and re read it in the deep manner it was written. I expect death, and I respect life. I hope you do the same or please step aside, as we stroll slowly by. hiding in plain sight, unhiding and yet unknown. slow and steady on the brake, may we rake and play till the day we find and see our life flash before our eyes only to come back or stop and be still higher as a statue or an a unknown and unknowing god. god is not a myth, but a riddle. spoken in the language I was broken to speak. set on knees eyes closed as a giant with a death wish. on the verge , on the edge , always on a line, and walking slowly as we try to reach the other end of the never ending wire, while we go back and fourth hauling supplies. – Lucas Wur March 30 222. from 101. 2 from 1–3 I try hard to be alive while forming respect from above and below all walks of life. Please don’t judge while I take my time, I’ve died for this. I say please, but you know what that means, take your time. A well mannered threat to no one , but him and herself. A rolling chimney on a treadmill with round wheels, till someone decides wheels should be square because this is the future and our time is forever and always. Now onto a darker time, where I finally openly meet myself and kill myself. . EDGE OF EXPERIENCE SPINS BOTH WAYS. I draw in 2 , but expect 4 only to be met with 6 and a floor that is soft, and bounces at the touch. I enjoy the work that shows me ways around corners. May we become corners as no one should be expected to be or fall prey to to the tollbooth that moves and stretches across the street , to stop traffic for gold bricks. No Control. 49L0xyz. Wrloluc1d.

Very nice! – Sorry to report: A newly labeled neurosis is certain to follow tiny house trends- mice studies of the 50s illustrated the horrific consequences of living in dense populations – that study Transfered over to human models and has shown again and agAIN to be equally detrimental – all the smiles and conserving of $ will certainly fall out of favor once the suffering of failed relationships and neurotic children that is certain to follow comes to light. Its OK for awhile for a couple, but never ever a family- Don’t be fooled by all the hype- tremendous regret is certain for all but a hermit – think for a minute- there’s a reason why this kind of constructionin is uncommon

Shalina’s house in Sacramento was by far my favorite ingenious use of space!

  33. Carrie Geren Scoggins [Official] on June 17, 2022 at 1:16 am

I had a lot of ideas about using extra wall space as hidden storage, and floor space as well, in mobile homes, but could never find anyone to help me do it. Hallways, floors, and other spots in a home where there is nothing there, is a good spot to have a tiny storage spot. It isn’t a full closet, + might just be the area where normally is insulation, but even that small of a space could hold a lot of stuff. I also used shoe holders in the back wall of closets to hold extra things, such as extra bathroom supplies, even things such as sewing notions.
I have never been able to understand why mobile home makers do not add in vast storage spaces, as I always felt that they should have the small cabinets in every space, even in the living room+down hallways, up high, out of the way, as is done in campers. Mobile homes have no attics, as a tiny house doesn’t, which begs lots of questions on storage. If the tiny house has under-pinning, set up permanently, then there is a bit underneath it for extra things, But still not much. I thought of using an old gutted camper as a mobile storage unit. Building a storage building on a trailer to pull it to the new site would work if they have another vehicle.

The pot rack is just like the cloths drying ranks people often had above their lounges to take advantage of the rising heat from the living area

  41. Gillian Moody on June 17, 2022 at 1:24 am

Really innovative ideas and a lot of them. With respect, now that y’ve pointed it out here, the black colour is extremely distracting on video, in relation to the space you’re in.

Looking forward to the next vid. Cheers.

  42. Heather Thomas on June 17, 2022 at 1:24 am

Love this entire video, but the shower/rolling closet idea blew my mind. Definitely want to incorporate that idea into my container home I’m about to build! What a fantastic idea!

  43. C Tuckwell on June 17, 2022 at 1:26 am

I’ve just started investigating the Tiny House movement on YouTube, even though I’ve been aware of it for about a year. While I love these videos, and seeing the tours and creativity, some of them seem a bit overcomplicated, and others make me a little nervous: what if the elevating bed gets stuck? What if that kid gets trapped under the bed? And a heater under a mattress? is that even safe?
Have to admit that the idea I got the most excited about what utilising the kick-space under the kitchen cabinets as drawers! Genius! Forget the sliding cupboard/shower or the rotating wardrobe, kick-space drawers are the future! 😂
Looking forward to watching a lot more videos on this channel. 🙂
