By cheap by twice is what my English boss used to say
what did she have to pay for the top?
I love the ‘just do it’ attitude. I too would appreciate the large windows, but I do think at some point she will change her mind on insulation. But then, ‘baby steps’. Thank you for sharing .
she is a awsome lady nice to see enjoying herself when she said she was from Wa state Ithought no wonder she is so nice that is where I live now lol… nice Interview with her also .
Great video Bob! The tour was informative good ideas. Thanks Cheryl.
Love Cheryl’s set up with the high top. I have a question for her: Being a passenger van, did the ceiling have AC ducts running through the headliner? Also, I understand that you are required to remove the headliner prior to having the high top installed.
I ask because I also have a twelve passenger van and was planning, Fiberine quote and all, to drive from Maryland to Fiberine to do the install. I became somewhat discouraged when I was told I had to remove the headliner, as I became intimated with having to remove it while considering the AC duct work running behind the headliner. I was curious if you had a similar situation and how you handled it.😊
Thank you for sharing. Hope to meet you all one day. This is the way of life I’d like to live. Planning 🚐😁 safe travels
Thank u for sharing ur home…you did a super job…your a wonderful example for us. Some many ideas
I started my journey April of 2023 and I have a 2007 trailblazer but in the future I will have a van or something like an rv
How much did it cost for all this as a build? Total newbie here trying to just begin to plan.
I luv what she did with the windows, very smart.
Love your van
Very cool.
Great build! Need to insert something between mattress and board to allow “breathing” or it will get bad…should google it.
A really nice interview! Cheryl you have made a lot of simple choices that would work well for a lot of different people. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for listing the items you bought and used! Good luck on your future!
Very cool easy build… ❤
👀 I see your Thieves hand soap! So happy to see an “oily” friend on the road! ❤
This woman has a great disposition. Her enthusiasm generates positive vibes. Great job with this build too. I watched this video and afterwards I felt a jolt of energy for my future traveling! Thank You Bob for this video! Cheryl Thank you for your home tour and sharing your experience with all that are watching!
Super video
She has so much room, very nice.
Looking to live this life real soon love her set up
Became a part timer with no modifications in my current SUV well I did take the backseats out so happy to find you and can’t wait to watch this
Such a sweet lady and she has some good ideas that I have made note of!
Most economical shower solution I have seen!
I love her idea of leaving the top open when covering windows and use of static cling vinyl for privacy. Looked it up and there are decorative ones availble as well.
Nice set up! I highly suggest a solar shower, it’s much more convenient.
Renting your house is the way to go!
I love this…great job! Where are you guys right now…July?
So love the van can’t wait tell I can travel more I just do weekend now
It’s funny how these people are saying exactly the same thing I say when people ask me why have I been homeless for 44 years as a minimalist I believe is the in vogue term today
Nice check out trent and ellie mountain view vans
Bob can u find some canadians 🇨🇦and interview them
Thank 😊 u
Cheryl’s a great inspiration. I wouldn’t even know where do start to do it myself. Do you hire someone to take seats out of the van? Are there people/ services who do that?
Nice job and she seems like a fun person to hang out with.
Nice and roomy!😊
Yes, wise lady,
I put on a sofa instead of a bed to sit on a long day.
I have a (likely dumb) couple of questions for anyone that can help. With vans like this, when you add the high top:
1. Can you still add a roof rack or something to have solar panels on the roof? or is it too tall if that is added?
2. How do you insulate the top inside? Or does someplace like Fiberine do that too? or is it needed?
Thanks to anyone that can provide some insight:)
This is motivational ❤
Great job
I like her bedrest ,it’s less bulky then most. Where’d she get that?
Cool set up!
Good one. Utterly efficient, and that jack stand is a really smart idea, by the way. Wishing you all good things.
Very smart lady with all her great ideas!
