We still have not stayed at one. Jodi has made us eligible. We just forget to even look for those. I think we need to do it one of these days. Thank you so much for showing us how to find the info. ❤️👍👏 Donovan & Jodi
amazing
Steve! When were you at Keesler? We were in the FamCamp from Jan 3-10. Dan & Kevin
U can stay there for free if tour a disable vet right ?
Thank You !!
I have camped at military campgrounds as a retired Air Force guy. Good places and usually pretty busy. We stayed at Seal Beach FAM Camp . Thanks Steve!
Stayed at the one in Colorado Springs….it was wonderful!! On my way to Tullaloma, TN and Destin, Fl, next weekend. May head to Atlanta, next. But, will not stay at Dobbins. TY, for the review. Lived in Atlanta for 35 years. So, will moondock at homes of Friends, if I make it there on my return to Indiana. I’m a DoD Civilian and as a Solo Woman, I try to stay at military sites. Stayed at two places in Oklahoma. Both, were very nice.
Great insight for military families. Like 42
👍👍
Great information and great video! We are a military family and found this video very helpful. Looking forward to seeing more of your useful information!! Cheers, Christina & Rick
Hi Steve. I have never been to a Military camp. Thanks for your video with beautiful views of playground, lake, and advices . Have a blessed time.
I’m Air Force retired can I go
I am not eligible. I am glad you are though and thank you for your service my friend. This is well deserved for all those who serve. Very cool you can do this. I hope they take better care and update them. Nothing like bad information. Much respect my friend. Can’t wait to see y’all in a few weeks.
Very good review
I’m a veteran, and my father is a deceased retiree. I don’t qualify. What a shame. I’d love to add them to my list of places to camp at.
We’ve never stayed at a Famcamp. This was very useful information that we hope to use in the future. Enjoy your new home. 👍#3
Great information! Thank you sir.👍🏼😎
So, I wonder, if I have a DOD CAC (Common Access Card, or ID card) if we would be able to camp.
We’ve stayed at the Naval Weapons Station Annex FamCamp. Great place kinda out of the way but all RV sites are full hookup with concrete pads for the RV.
Great info here. I’ve often wondered how military campgrounds work.
Thank you for sharing and as a retired Army veteran myself, I will definitely be following your channel and looking forward to staying at these type of campgrounds in the near future.
Great information. We have stayed at Robins AFB fam camp in Georgia in 2005. It was nice then.
Love famcamps! That’s our goto when traveling! True, all is not equal though:/
Dover AFB was awesome. 10 sites, lots of space between sites, clean and was sure nice to recoop when we moved out of our sticks and bricks further north. From there we had a short day to our long term spot.
How long can you stay in these campgrounds? We are brand new to the rv life and have access to any base. Thanks.
have never stayed at one don’t believe I qualify as being just a veteran wish we could use this along with our other memberships to aid in traveling
Great video as usual. If anybody see this post, give Traveling Deficit Disorder a nice comment. Gate guarding for this long is really getting to him and battles with depression. Steve has mentioned them before.
Thanks for your information on the famcamps. My husband and I are both veterans but have yet to stay at a famcamp. We did visit a few bases along the way for some shopping.
Good information Steve!
mom and dad are not going to the RV park by themselves, since they are not eligible to get the dependent ID card, even though with their son/daughter in the military. They still can go with the sponsors present.
We are retired military and love the military FamCamps. We stayed at several, the best was at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.~ Brad and Diana
