Let the Sprinter Van Life Build continue! After two years of full time van life were REbuilding our off grid tiny house. This week we are building our kitchen in our off grid tiny home. We are installing a RV 42 gallon water tank as Crystals arms just cant lift the jugs anymore 😂 & re building the entire kitchen from the bottom up. During the kitchen renovations we make a few van build mistakes & some minor set backs happen. We are getting nervous that we wont have this van ready for winter van life…When we initially did our DIY Sprinter van conversion we didn’t film any of it- we’re excited to share this van re build with you! Our Journey! How did we get here?
We started living in our van full time in winter of February 2019. We drove across Canada spent 8 months on Vancouver Island working, living and traveling in our van. We then started our dream of overlanding Canada to Argentina. We fell in love with full time travel and van life as we carried on through Canada, USA, Mexico, & Guatemala. However, we couldn’t keep going due to the travel limitations. Now we are exploring Canada and cannot wait to show you our beautiful country!

You two totally rock. I am an old man, retiring early next year and I can tell you that you are doing great! "Over the axles", absolutely love your logic. Remember the first rule of life; it is terminal make the best of it. Eyes open, no fear … be safe ladies.
You can add a 7000+ btu ac run it off the batteries at night. But thats pricy. You need 1000ah battery bank,. And a decent 300amp alternator. To be able to charge them all day while driving. Which will only give you 8-10 hrs of cooling. You do the math if it’s worth investing $5k-$7k just to be able to have a battery powered AC.

You two seem to be missing something in life
When drilling through wood, to avoid the tear out on the bad side, as you put it, clamp a piece of scrap wood under the primary piece and when the drill bit comes out the other side, the scrap piece will prevent the tear out. Always apply the white plumbing silicone tape on the threads in a clock wise manner, for a right hand thread, counter clock wise for a left hand thread. That way when you screw on the other fitting, the silicone tape will not be torn of but will remain in place. All the best. Dave & The Girls
