I love your videos and your attitude! It was a rude awakening for me in March when showers, public restrooms, and commercial hot springs shut down.I used the one gallon water jug at a time dumped over my head method well into the summer. I love simplicity! Just 2 or 3 gallons works quite well! But my whole (van) life is basically a quarantine. So that is a nice coincidence. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photography with us!

Thank you for sharing your candid thoughts about living on the road and relaying the challenges youโ€™ve encountered during the COVID pandemic. I feel as though I was right there with you. Your determination is admirable. I love watching your adventures. Hang in there!

Are you ever scared of running into a Bear on the trails?

  4. chrispov1103 on May 25, 2021 at 3:57 am

Hey, take a look to Kรคrcher OC3 MObile Outdoor Cleaner…the pressure fits perfect for cleaning dogs, bikes or have a shower (you will love with your long hair). The "plus" option ables to extend the water tank up to 7 liter…in my opinion the best mobile camping shower…for less money. You can buy an used one for 60 bucks. cheers Chris

I would like to see your van. Do you have a van tour video?

  15. Dyan Wiley on May 25, 2021 at 4:12 am

Just found your channel. Awesome videos! Is your bug screen purchased or DIY? We’re finishing up our van build and need to deal with a screen for our Ford Transit without paying an arm and a leg!! Thanks.

This was one of the most incredibly beautiful videos I have seen in a long time. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I can definitely see why this outweighs all the cons of living in a van during the pandemic. Also, it’s interesting because I’ve toyed with the idea of van life but my goal was to always have a dog with me if I did. However, having a pet would definitely pose additional challenges when it comes to finding an Air BnB or other kinds of accommodation if need be. Gah, so many things to consider. In any case, you should have way more subscribers than you do. Your content is amazing!

Very jealous. I say screw living life for the man. You have got the perfect life. Do what you want, go wherever you want. Especially right now. That is pure freedom. Wish you well on your amazing adventures.

  22. Jacque Mundt on May 25, 2021 at 4:24 am

Chris did you do your own van conversion? If not ,who did and how much it cost everything including the van . If you don’t mind my asking . Me and my husband are thinking something like yours. โ™ฅ๏ธ I like your simple and clean design.

  23. PG 13Ish on May 25, 2021 at 4:26 am

What camera are you using for the landscapes shots? And lenses?

  26. Erin Blogs on May 25, 2021 at 4:28 am

You mentioned working and hot spot. May ask what kind of work you do? Do you HotSpot off your phone and just buy more data? Thanks! (one of the things I think about with living in a vehicle)

  27. Syed Javed Ahmad on May 25, 2021 at 4:30 am

I thought you travel alone solo.? but……..hmm

  30. Richard Mabe on May 25, 2021 at 4:32 am

Thanks for a peek into your world. While nothing is perfect perhaps, your minimalist life has a lot going for it. Now 58 having observed people in all walks of life I think happiness will come more often your way than to someone always wanting more and more with the unending restlessness that brings.

  32. The Luminary on May 25, 2021 at 4:35 am

So how has the pandemic affected Van Life more specifically??

  33. Belinda Chappell on May 25, 2021 at 4:35 am

Thanks for the videos ๐Ÿค— stunning footage. Random question as Iโ€™m about to start van life, itโ€™s the little things I take for granted that I worry about. do you find using the dryer to dry your laundry shrinks your clothes?

  34. fototripper on May 25, 2021 at 4:35 am

The safety on the road topic interests me. We’ve had a few questionable moments in the camper so some tips would be great.

Im so drawn to Washingtons’ "mystic" mnts…. like something out of Lord of the Rings. (Zeppelin’s "Misty Mnt Hop" comes to mind!). Extended family lived there with a cabin near the upper Peninsula rain-forest, (the Sound you crossed?). I was a kid back then, but wow was that a cool place, and we had the family chevy hi-top camper van!! Good times. Need to go back. Ya know..Colorado’s OK …. love Montanas big feel but ..has too many Grizzles(!) Washington tops those in scenery, and not many grizzlies but they still have some. Had a black bear (rarely dangerous) pushing in my tent wall 2 ft from my head at midnight on the Superior hiking trail (my playground), if it were Griz country, I’d been dinner. Thats a nice modern clean looking shower / restroom facilities to use….what a rare find for a campground.

  41. Harvey Mushman on May 25, 2021 at 4:43 am

Shower?…Does that sink faucet of yours pull out ?…or that sun shower of yours will do….or several plastic jugs of warm water will do..If so a small inflatable pool,,,,I’ve seen some that don’t inflate they just fold up… to stand in to catch the water and then you can make coffee from it ! or pull it to the now open side door to dump it…

  42. Aaron Fu on May 25, 2021 at 4:44 am

Keep this up please… it was very therapeutic for me.

  43. Steve Tobias on May 25, 2021 at 4:45 am

Awesome you were able to shower! Thatโ€™s the biggest thing that sucked in the Canadian Rockies: the campground showers were boarded up all summer. But yeah that solar shower is awesome; I put it on top of my van before I hiked and then have a sweet shower after a long day on the trails.

  44. Danni and Joe on May 25, 2021 at 4:46 am

Definitely makes you learn a new set of skills travelling at this time
