Any day of the week is good for me in terms of the weekly vids. Looking forward to the build videos along with everything else. Perhaps a tour of the new shop from your dog’s perspective? The doggie van tour was hilarious!
Everyone says walmart’s but they actually have a no overnight parking policy at a lot of their stores. Especially in certain states like california and florida. Have you (and anyone reading) been aware of this and does it really matter? I wonder if they just let it slide anyway even if officially there should be no one there
Looking to join #vanlife in late April 2019 looking for a basic build on a van.
We are currently looking at the Ram 3500 extended. Since it seem the majority of vanlifers do a rebuild after a year we want something very ‘nuts and bolts’ for our first year. Do you have a basic build plan?

Not weekend. I watch videos daily during the week and catch up on weekend videos on monday
I like middle of the week like a Thursday or a Wednesday
How bout hospital/ emergency room parking lots…..great place to park
People, it is NOT illegal to sleep in your car. It’s only illegal if you are trespassing, falling asleep while driving, in an area where there is a curfew (usually for minors) or if you are intoxicated/under the influence. As long as you aren’t in a area where you are violating parking rules (I.e sleeping in a permitted area or neighborhood where a parking permit is required you are fine

cracker barrell, cabelas,some home depots gyms, ymca, industrial areas, hospitals (wear headphones)

Vanlifer for almost 2 years and we’ve found that parking behind businesses has been the most effective. I worked at 24 hour fitness for 6 months and the street parking and parking lot were so helpful!!!!

Great video, congratulations! I read that in order to maintain a "van life" you have to have work mostly remotely or having a remote job (like IT).
Doing my own conversion and am wondering what hydraulic cabinet door supports you have for your upper cabinets, and where you sourced them from? Thanks in advance for the info! BTW, you’ve got cool dogs!!

We had our mail forwarded to our campground in Colorado that we stayed at for three months. Once a week we would receive mail from previous week.
National Forests (e.g. Stanislaus) and National Reserves (e.g. Mojave) allow overnight camping pretty much anywhere, and also allow dogs. However it’s wise to use areas that have already been use; don’t drive over wild areas. Other lands managed by the government (BLM, USFW) may also be fair game, but I haven’t done the research on that yet.
We like to watch you on Sundays, with coffee and a lie in!
