You tow with a 4 runner……All I hear from Facebook is you should not tow with anything less than a truck……How does it tow/setup

If you aren’t charging while towing you need to set up for dc/dc charging. Easiest way to keep charged.

What was your trailering set up like? Did you use a towing stabilizer hitch? If so? which one?

  11. Kim Horton on May 17, 2023 at 12:44 pm

Hold on girl: if you went out in a van for a couple of days and hated it immediately counts.

Great video! I just signed the paperwork on a Basecamp 16X today! (Towing w/ my 4Runner!) and will be living in it full-time within a couple months. I was going through the van vs. Basecamp thing myself for quite a while. The two things that really pushed me to get the Basecamp were more space (able to keep bikes in the 4Runner w/out impacting living space), and the ability to detach and drive the 4Runner separately. Maybe I’ll run into you out there!

What a great video, especially about the benefits of being detachable and having space for each other! 👏🏻

Really interesting video! Would love to see a comparison on expenses: trainer life vs. apartment life – like the "what I spend in a week" but comparing the two – would be interesting.
