Loved the built in stove area!
Love it! We have the same van and did a custom build. Check out a Thetford port a potty…a step up from a bucket and about $100. My husband is 5’8" and has not had a problem with the driver’s seat swivel. Love the catwalk!! We joined Harvest Hosts and stay for free all over the country, (Only requirement is to patronize the business which is never a problem!) All the best to you guys!

where and how did u find someone to do ur electric? My husband is doing ours and it doesn’t look as neat as urs. Can u share approximate cost?
Lol we full time #vanlife with 3 dogs and 2 adults. Yes outside looking in it would seem cramped but in all reality I still find it easier then houselife. The dogs and us spend our days and time working/playing outside all day and when we’re home in the van they’re pretty tired and just chillaxin. For dogs, the van is like a den, they find soo many nooks & crannies to nap in. They all have their favorite spots they like. They also have their toy collection as well.
We LOVE our swivel seats! Hubbs and I have no problem reaching the pedals. (I’m 5,6”)

Did you glue your beard hair to your chest?? Awesome info on the van. I am still impressed on all the work you have put into getting the van completed. I have said it before but your wood working skills surprised me. Van looks great, hope you and Misty get to hit the road soon.

I would never dream of taking my cats to travel with me, I did that once when I was a kid and my cat just freaked out and hide the whole trip. I hope you have more luck, but whatever happens I know you have their best interests in mind. Good luck and safe travels!
The couch and bed is my idea also. Love your layout. LOL. Both couchand bed would be for me to lay down either location. I have studied many toilets. You might appreciate getting that dry flush toilet for your emergencies. But my preference is to not have a black water tank. And have my urine drain directly into the gray water tank. And have it set up for easy drain while on the road. So my preference is the Separett toilet. I think that’s how it is spelled. Basically it’s on the idea of drying your poop. It has a vent. Where it is drying and removing any smells etc by venting. I liked that better than composting toilet. This is composting also. As basically makes like a dried out cow patty. Or you can just throw away as garbage. Anyway. My favorite is your couch.

I love the screens and the catwalk. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and I could see us in a vehicle like that. Also making the couch big enough to be a spare bed without any modifications was smart. Great build.

Great video! Kinda wish you had some footage of your pets hanging out in the van so we could see them interact with it, but still a great video.
You should add some fake plants or real plants to the kitty walk they will feel like threw in a jungle only if you like though

Great job on the van! Where did you purchase your bug (cat screens) screens?
Love the accommodations you made for your pets, it really feels like they were a priority which sadly isn’t the case in all van builds. My only question is about the Dometic A/C: is that something you only run when hooked up to shore power? 100ah isn’t enough to run it for very long, and you need power for other things as well. Just asking because it’s very important to have ventilation and cooling for pups and kitties 🙂

2 adults living in a van with 2 cats and a dog ?The vans inner space is the equivalent of a typical master bedroom area space. And no shower.or bathroom! What a nightmare.
