WHO WE ARE? WHAT’S WITH OUR ACCENT?

We’re Dom & Marie, a French Canadian couple who love Nutella and live in a van. Marie is the brain (Ph.D student) and Dom’s the dreamer (Creative director).

In our newly converted Promaster 136” named Vanessa, we plan to visit every single corner of North America. Our goal is to inspire others to start #vanlife and to help build their very own home on wheels.

With Avasva plans doing something like that was easy.

  2. Danny Grissom on January 6, 2021 at 1:05 am

    Love this one

  3. CARMEN MARIA CORTES MARIN on January 6, 2021 at 1:10 am

Love it! I would have to have a wet shower with a compost toilet and sink. I would also add safety belts in the van. Love watching you guys!

  4. Eileen Stout on January 6, 2021 at 1:10 am

Beautiful build, but I have to agree with the "no bathroom" criticism. Why spend nearly $100K on a camper van/home with no bathroom? Even if its built to be rented?

  5. Marcel H on January 6, 2021 at 1:11 am

Will you do "building a campervan" videos? Like for your next own vanbuild?

  6. Mr Monkey on January 6, 2021 at 1:12 am

Can you do more videos that are like a day in your life e.g. like where do you travel, what stuff do?

  7. joy cross on January 6, 2021 at 1:12 am

    How much $. ??

  8. Lori Rugato on January 6, 2021 at 1:12 am

Very nice van. I have 2 cats and need screens on windows. I would rather a composting toilet. Love you guys

Great videos & content! Do you mind discussing 136 vs 159 lengths (L2 vs L3)? Pro Space vs Con maneuverability etc. Thanks

  13. Janoh de Groot on January 6, 2021 at 1:19 am

I thought I heard it before and I’m hearing it now again: Dom, do you say eggcetera instead of etcetera?

It’s lovely. You didn’t mention about the window coverings. Looks like you did something different.

  16. Jasper Dunord on January 6, 2021 at 1:20 am

  19. David Gabrys on January 6, 2021 at 1:22 am

I love the drawer pull handles. What kind are they?

  20. Kepc on January 6, 2021 at 1:23 am

Really nice! I’d need a shower and easier access to the toilet, though. Otherwise, I liked your design very much. 👍🏻🌸

Hi guys, I love your videos and am about to embark on my own build. Could you tell me how you find that Canadian Solar panel – does it have good efficiency and output? Also which model did you choose? And last question – how did you make those cork blinds again? Thanks very much. Lance

  28. Joran Looij on January 6, 2021 at 1:34 am

Hi guys, love your van! If you don’t mind I use your style for my own promaster/ducato van conversion, cause I love it to much 😉 But I’ve one question for you guys (or your dads 😉 ): what is the best way to ad your cladding to the walls without losing to much of space in the width? What’s your advice? Hope you can help me out a bit! Thanks and love from Holland! Greetings, Joran

  29. Rheanna Hoffmann on January 6, 2021 at 1:35 am

Love this! I’m actually looking for the handles used on the cabinets! Anyone know how I can find them / know the name?

  30. Rene Hill on January 6, 2021 at 1:35 am

    I’d buy in a heartbeat…

  35. Suzette Calleja on January 6, 2021 at 1:41 am

Is your dad still building out camper vans?

  36. Logan Pettinato on January 6, 2021 at 1:42 am

It is a nice conversion but the bed is smaller then a true full. A full is 54×75.

  37. Kelley Ann Moore on January 6, 2021 at 1:42 am

I would have never known that this was your first staring role on video! You indeed nailed it! I spend hours watching van life from several couples even though I will never be able to do this as my husband was blinded during a heart transplant surgery. It’s all good though because we just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and he has 7 grand kiddos that think he is where love is made!! They don’t care one bit that Grandpa can’t see because he can HEAR! But I love living my dream through the eyes of couples like yourself. Thanks for sharing!! Love, Hugs, Prayers and Blessings, Kelley

I am going to go into a french restaurant and ask for the restroom just like you .

  39. Alison Tanner on January 6, 2021 at 1:44 am

Hi guys, great videos and I love your van renovations, your style is super cool! Can I just ask where is the shower or do you not have one?! Do you use the faucet out of the kitchen window? What about cold weather! Bbbbrrrrhhh! Perhaps you use campsites?! Otherwise I love everything you do, I’m so inspired to get a van and do it up in the UK! Do you share your van layouts anywhere? Pls keep up the great videos! 🤟🏻Alison

  40. SLAM BOY on January 6, 2021 at 1:49 am

Should put a swing out door in front of potty so you don’t have to pick it up to use .

  41. Holly Fortenberry on January 6, 2021 at 1:50 am

FIRST of all, Marie did GREAT! She did not seem nervous at all. Bravo Marie. SECOND of all I am LOVING the French lessons. Please keep those going! Thank you! Oh, and the van was gorgeous! 🙂

  43. Paige Rogers on January 6, 2021 at 1:53 am

Because this van is more posh and stark than Vanessa, I suggest he be named Vanderbilt. Thank you so much for the many ideas I am getting for my own conversion and for being a positive and funny couple!

  44. Marian Lauffer on January 6, 2021 at 1:53 am

Love your van. However, I really love the curtains. What fabric is it? Looks like cork.

  45. JohnBaker3000 on January 6, 2021 at 1:54 am

Nice van tour! For Christmas, all I want is either stuffed or ceramic dolls of you two! You always bring a smile to my face, and everyone else I’m sure!

    Bravo 👏 I

  50. Peggy Ramsey on January 6, 2021 at 2:02 am

I love the quality. I would flop the kitchen to look out the door and put in a bigger refrigerator and have the toilet on a slider. I only need one swivel seat and I would like magnetic window coverings.
