Hey Man! I will be there next week! I plan to sleep in my car. What do you recommend if I need to take a quick shower?
Whats up! I also live in my van..come sub and network!
Do the cops bother you guys and can those rvs stay overnight?
*Sees homeless people in tents*
*Cues the music*
the american dream has come down to living on the streets..
Are these spots all free to park for unlimited terms?
Great video! Was wondering whether there is somewhere in L.A. city where you can get free clean drinking water? Thanks
Thanks for the video. live in a mini van,I took out the backseats and threw in a Full XL Mattress back there..I suggest people that live in their vehicle to have urine bottle container they do come handy, specially at night when you need to use a restroom. Also try to pay somebody like$200-300 bucks a month so you could use their restroom/shower,get your mail at their address and perhaps if they won’t mind for you to borrow a small space for storage (if it don’t cost extra) to leave behind bags of clothes and what not.Things that not too important but are valuable to you (i.e. leaving behind your winter clothes during the summer so it won’t take space from your vehicle)…I have a good deal with a person that allows me to use small space of their fridge,to store my milk and cheese, leave behind my bread and cereal at their home.
I come thru only once a day during the late morning to use the restroom, shower, pick up mail, and make myself my mug of coffee, either eat a bowl of cereal or make myself a quick cheese toast sandwich with my coffee and im out on my merry own way and won’t be back until the following day..Usually I survive with crackers and eating out, or my buddy from high school later in the evening will invite me over to his home and I’ll fix myself a meal or quick salad at his home..I still hold a full time job minimum wage, and I to save money, don’t get me wrong there’s some few challenges do come up from time to time out on the streets.
P.S. have power pack inverters with you that have a capacity of 600Watts+ charge .So you could charge your electronic devices, small tv’s, laptops and portable Fan.A Fan comes very handy when nights are hot/warm during the summer.I charge back my Inverters at work.I wish I had a Generator, but that does takes a lot of space on a minivan. Also,a small electric Stove w./Water Pot comes handy if you need to make yourself a Cup of Noodles meal or coffee or re-heat a meal…
Good luck you all out there.Stay Safe!
What about getting towed
What was the name of the street for the large rv parking? Is this still a viable parking spot?
Did you know the Irish comic that worked at the Swan rental place? He was on Kill Tony a few times.
Love your hair. I grew up in LA and I remember when Echo Park was not the place you wanted to go to. Iโm glad that it has been gentrified. I miss LA but I donโt think I can afford to live there. I live in Texas now
That looks like a sweet spot alright. Wish I’d made it up that way. ๐๐๐
If i see you ill invite you a drink thanks bro
I’m a comic who is going to do the van life and this was very helpful.
i respect your grind but all this is getting out of hand in LA
