Hardees used to be like that in the empire mall in Sioux Falls
Burger King corporate should really lease it again and reopen it as an 80’s themed location, even down to reprinting the 80’s themed paper bags and burger wrappers, and uniforms too! Would be a fun nostalgia themed trip, I bet they’d have enough business to make it viable, but a franchisee won’t have the funds to go as far as reprinting old designs of paper goods, would have to be a corporate venture.
Slow news day.
Anyone else notice how bummed out the reporter sounded when the news anchor asked to see the mall hallway? lol. Then he sticks the mic in the guys face at the end for no reason lol
The reporter is good
I think thatβs 90βs BK , the soda fountains are the tell, and no way that onion ring is 40 years old, if so BK uses a lot of preservatives lol
Someone call SteveMRE1987 about that onion ring ASAP!
Is this a parody? Making fun of Burger King.
Did the guy actually eat the onion ring ?
Joe Biden used to cook there, and then manage it.
This isn’t that uncommon in rural areas
talk about something being underwhelming…
That news reporter doing the tour sounds and looks like a complete idiot. I never have wished more for someone to shut up than that guy.
Ghost feed off energy in abandoned buildings
I love this reporter and how he’s tweaking out
It’s definitely bigger than most fast food restaurants of today
the reporters name is in the description. he has other clips lmao
I hear there were some documents found close by.
Ho hum not that big of a deal. I didn’t say "wow" like I thought I might when I saw the video title.
This reporter is an absolute renegade
Fire up the machine I want two impossible whoppers some onion rings and a coffee.
This crew is alot more exciting than the bore I get to view in the am
Slow news day? It’s not THAT old.
This guy is something else
I was on vacation in 2012 for a week and ate there several times.
They are literally running out of news.
Burger King sure beats McDiabetes.
From the looks of the soda logos, this place looks like it was still open in the 2000s.
This reporter needs to calm the fu*k down. Heβs on something. Love the restaurant still
Need to go back to these styles and the way things were. They would make more money just on nostalgia alone.
The flip ook thing the camera man zoomed in on clearly shows Monday October 2008 on the top right. So it’s been closed since then. Not closed since 1983.
Did they just grab some random guy in the mall to be the reporter? That guy is terrible! ππππ
this looks very similar to the Burger King across town before the first renovation in the early 90s. Very retro look that that they had back then. Then they updated it and it changed sometime after about 1993ish or so and it was much more modern.
I think a Youtuber should be reporting this. This guy is definitely on some coke. Get a normal guy not saying anything, but videotaping everything.
Interesting to have a field reporter who does a couple lines of coke before going live.
That is not an eighties Burger King. It may have been there in the eighties but it was open until the late 2000 s
I remember going into Gold Circle department store in my childhoodβ¦.they had a mini cafeteria (very small) to eat in back by the shoe department- western Hills Cincinnati
Sorry but that onion ring is from the 2000s, not 82. Used to go there all the time.
Really tells ya just how much this generation is obsessed with nostalgia
Keep the reporter away from the cocaine. Holy fk.
Fuck me, anyone would think they just unearthed the holy grail
Is he drunk?
Best reporter NA
Reporter is on much coke.
I don’t see what the big deal is most burger kings are dilapidated and still using the same exact restaurant from the 80s-90s, at-least the ones that have been open in the same location for that long. it’s really not all that rare. burger king rarely does/did upgrades. it’s one of the things that made them deteriorate as a company compared to mcdonalds that did the opposite. The bk by me had the same inside for at least 3 decades until it finally shut down because of the ghetto vibes kept people away, as well as the horrible service.
ALL restaurants are Burger King now! π±πππ€ͺπ€£πππΊπ²
Reporter guy riding the WHITE pony..on the powder hiway π€ͺπ―π€£π
This guy is a mess…they gave him this softball story and he still showed up all goofy
I like Hank’s reporting style
I wonder if they did anything with the spaceβ¦.
