LOL at the comments. Emily is trying to get a point across to anyone willing. I would be careful with using the self checkouts as Walmart in Kentucky and Arkansas have found skimmers attached to the ones in those aisles.
Excellent video Emily…! Very informative. Nice easy casual camping – not backpacking or bushcrafting or surviving the apocalypse – doesn’t need to be expensive. The items you chose will serve the average fair-weather camper very well and let them upgrade over time if they want to. Great job, Emily! Very well done.

The only downside is a lot of that stuff going to be maybe one to two uses before it starts breaking down I’ve tried that and trust me it’s worth it to spend a little bit of extra money and get quality products that you can use year after year

Great video, thanks for it. Contrary to the collectivist statists commenting on here, I am glad we have market choices that lead to lower cost products and above average pay for a retail market. Not to mention the employment that happens along the chain.
My tarp poles alone are more than $140…
You didn’t need that giant air mattress too heavy and bulky to carry on a camping trip. I have one smaller and light weight to carry with and doesn’t take up a lot of room but for food and other item’s.
A four person tent for a solo camper ? Sounds about right, actually. Was that the right fuel for the stove ? It appeared not.
