Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings. I totally understand coming to that place of "enough of this" and doing something about it. Stay safe and TFSš§”
That is amazing
I have a good job, a nice apartment and feel STUCK!!! I don’t go anywhere or do anything because I just have no motivation to do it. I have a home 500 miles away (moved for the job) and it’s just more money out the window every single month. So I just put it up for sale TODAY and am going to look at a van this weekend.
Go girl. Thanks for sharing.
You are saying what I’m thinking. My friends all blame it on the bi polar, but the reality is I’ve wanted this since childhood, sooo working on getting there
I. Envy you!
Hello! This is my first time watching you and i very much enjoyed hearing about your reasoning behind why you are traveling in a van. I have a couple questions that i hope you can answer for me. 1. Why didnt you buy an RV, like a small used Class C? 2. You dont have fear, being a woman all alone? That would be my biggest issue. Thank you!š
Thank you for sharing ā¤
Just watched your video and loved it!!
Iāve just found you and in only a couple of videos youāve resolved most of my concerns. Iāve been contemplating van life. Iām 48, separated (no kids) and completely burnt out with the pace of life in Sydney. I want more time to be creative (work is portable). I was scared it would be too hard to live in a van with my dog and Iām not prepared to leave him behind. Iām very outdoorsy, so my only remaining concern is what to do with my dog if I want to go into a National Park. I guess I could leave him at a vet/kennel in a nearby townā¦ Do you still get to camp in beautiful places because you canāt camp in National Parks with your dog?
Good for you š very inspiring š
God bless u
I’m glad you are doing vanlife.
The fresh air in nature, the quietness, nature noises are normal. Always healty food and drinks with you. More time for yourself. Happy feeling. Enjoy it.
Love your information
Love your videos. I would love to get a van and just drive across the country.
This is amazing
What a wonderful and brave decision you have made for yourself!! I am so happy to hear your story and that you are so much happier having made a big leap! I am greatly looking forward to learning about the art you create! Happy camping, and may God keep you always safe!
The best reasons Iāve heard for van life. Here in the states it seems like all the people who live in a van/car have no money. That would probably be me. I have a little apartment that Iām very comfortable in but I have no kitchen! I miss having a kitchen much more than I thought I would. Thereās always something, right? š Happy trails. Your doggie is really a good boy. ā¤
At 2:34 sec. into the video, it appears that a helicopter is falling out of the sky behind you! What was that?!
At 66 had fire before Christmas lost everything home dog and car now living in sons minivan welcome to my world people think I’ve lost my mind but I can’t deal with stress not by choice but survival miss my beach house but grandkids come first š
That’s exactly how I feel right now. I can’t do this anymore. 65, still working full time. No savings! A life time of work and never able to save for retirement! I’m done! The cost of everything so high and I can’t pay my bills on time anymore, ruining my credit. Thanks Biden for destroying the middle class!
I think the only way to get out from under this stressful life is to stop paying rent and pay down debt and student loans, hence, vanlife! I’m looking at a van now. Still not sure if I can afford one. They want money down and I don’t have that, but I do have a trade-in. Not sure I want a low clearance but watching some videos and yours, I guess it’ll work. I’d much rather be able to stand up though.
But I just can’t do it anymore, this life.
Thank you for your honesty. You are an inspiration as Chrome was an inspiration to you. He’s also now feeling depressed and down and said he needs a new shiny project to get out of his rut.
God bless you and stay safe ! Do 12:46 12:46
New subscriber here. I look forward to seeing your art work. Re why you are in a van, you might enjoy the YT channel Max & Occy . Max just bought 5 acres after living the van life for 6 years. Itās in Northern New South Wales. Occy is a sweetie dog you will enjoy too.
Enjoy the adventure and freedom.
Never apologize for birds! šš¦
I still watch Chrome
I live in a unique offgrid truck and trailer. It’s a go anywhere rig. I travel with my trade goods which I sell to retailer’s. The great thing is I can get away from people. Don’t like people. Like to be on my own. Most people irritate me. Visiting customers 5 days a week is enough of people for me. And at times I go away to isolated places
Pure love
Thank you Brenna. You really got me.
Fellow Aussie here. I can totally relate to everything you expressed in this video. I am a similar age, still working full time and feel totally despondent with the drudgery of my life as it is. I do own a small campervan which I try to get away in when I can and each time I do wish I could just keep going. One day I hope to be able to have the freedom to be able to do so and leave the hamster wheel behind.
I agree! Been living my caravan now for over a year for all the same reasons, and I’m still loving it. Nature is just the BEST ā¤ thanks for doing this video, great too see there are some of my tribe out there – solo, independent and free xx
First class presentationā¦at 84 I canāt do van life but I can do a few days at a time. The appeal of van living is evident to me.
My "why" is exactly your "why"! Wouldn’t/ Couldn’t live any other way! 3 years full time in my minivanā¤
Did u have a family or children maybe a husband .?
Don’t you need a home address for your van rego renewal as well as driver’s license?
What did you do with all your belongings? I don’t know what to do with everything that’s in my house?
Hello Brenna, I just found your channel and subscribed right away.
My husband and I are Canadian. In 1990 we spend close to 2 months in Australia, living in a van. We bought it when we arrived and sold it when we left. We did mainly the east cost and the south to Melbourne. You have a beautiful country. We have so many wonderful memories. I can understand why you love your life.
One thing I want to apologize for is the amount of oil our van spitted in the air. When we bought it, we didn’t realize it was going to need as much oil as gas. I’m very sorry about that.
Some of my favorite time was spend with the little pigeons in the south. the diving with the beautiful fishes in the east and the birds in the woods. I can understand why you don’t want to give it up.
I know I will enjoy watching your older videos and the upcoming ones.
Good on you! We have nearly completed our 40ft coach. Prepping for registration here in Australia. We have 3 dogs and a bird and our bus is so, so comfortable. We cannot wait to start moving around and enjoying the sea, mountains, country etc. In case anyone wonders about internet, we have Starlink and there is nothing like it.
I just accidentally found you
What is your art
Omagosh I used to feel that way about my art. I wonder if it would come back to me if I lived in my camper van. So happy for you ! Canāt wait to see your art.
A new subscriber and the thumbs up
Same here….. happyness starts inside you and not with extern factors like status, money, material things that means nothing and its relativ and an illusion……
If your happyness starts with extern factors you will never be happy because extern factors are endless.
People are programmed robot slaves of the system working from 9-5 buy stuff because they are empty inside.
Very sad .
I choose to live my life alone and have more strength, peace, power, happyness and time.
The more people around you, the more expectations, talk about others, lying, frustrations, negativity, jealousy, double standards etc….
No, i am not feeling better then others but more be carefully and awake.
Same here I am right along with you the way I feel I’m ready to sell my house I haven’t been happy in my house I’m ready to move forward thank you for your encouraging words I’m glad it came across your channelā¤
What do you do for $$ when you are traveling?
Hello from NYC , love your videos. During covid I have watched hundreds of videos on van life and the minivan is the best chore for solo living . In America unfortunately there’s a lot of seniors who were forced out of their home because they could no longer afford the costs and going into a nursing home would have been a catastrophe. Living in a minivan is the best solution and you can live quite nicely for a whole lot less .
Thanks you for sharing your story and inspiration.
I will be setting of on my new life and adventure next month and I can’t wait even more now..
Good!ā¤

Thatās great I want to do it too. I got so many medical problems. I think I would get better if I was out in nature.
