WORK ON ETSY ORDERS WITH ME- behind the scenes of an Etsy shop

In this video, watch me work on Etsy orders! See behind the scenes of an Etsy shop. I am an Etsy seller and I make wood signs, vinyl decals, and personalized gifts. I wanted to let you in on a little behind the scenes of the beginning of my week!

In this video, I start working on Sunday evening getting my wood signs cut, sanded, and stained. I go into the night starting on my vinyl decals. I work into the next day getting everything done and packaged up and shipped out. Hopefully this video gives you a little bit of work motivation to get stuff done! Thank you so much for watching!

Did I just watch your video and then go favorite your Etsy shop? Yes, yes I did! Loved seeing behind the scenes and I have a new appreciation for the amount of work it takes to make a sign. Well done!

  8. gabby Franco on June 8, 2021 at 3:38 am

This may be a dumb question but what material do you use for the wood and the vinyl you’re using what kind is it?

  9. Renee Whittenberger on June 8, 2021 at 3:38 am

Do you have advice on shipping? I started making items, and then I got stumped when I learned how much these wooden signs can cost to ship! What am I not understanding? Please help 😊. Your work looks great!

What size are the canister decals?

  11. Denise Rubio on June 8, 2021 at 3:39 am

Okay I’m confused, or maybe I didn’t hear you over my loud kids! Lol! I know the blue one is vinyl stencil what is the black colored vinyl? So the wording on all your signs is paint, you don’t use place permanent vinyl, right?

  12. Niki-Dee Fluck on June 8, 2021 at 3:39 am

Loved this video!! I love getting other people’s perspectives when making signs. I have a question! I’ve stopped using waverly because it always smears when I am doing a top coat. Especially with black and red. Have you have this issue? You use the black I saw in your video. Have you ever experienced it smearing thru your white when doing poly? Thanks! ❤️

That was an absolutely fascinating video behind the scenes of your Etsy shop workflow. Awesome work! Wish I had access to this video last summer as I made all the signs and decorations for our daughter’s wedding … many, many signs, yard games and table decorations. Learned a lot watching your process. Thanks for sharing!

Hi 🙂 really nice job, I want to ask – why do you make a stencil out of vinyl for painting instead of keeping the vinyl letters on the surface? It would not resist for long?! Thank you

  15. Freddy G on June 8, 2021 at 3:40 am

Awesome video! Thank you so much! New subscriber! Question…Do you provide the D-Rings or Sawtooth, etc to hang these signs? Thanks

  16. Brittany Power on June 8, 2021 at 3:44 am

Just wonderful! You are an inspiration for all your hard work and time management skills! The products are beautiful. How long have you been doing this? Also, how were you able to know what machines to purchase for decals? I hope to be able to do this on the side of my full time job. Looks fun and peaceful.

I schedule free pick ups with usps for my Etsy orders and they are nice enough to leave me empty bins to fill for next time! I love it! It saves me so much time and minimizes contact since I have a son with an immune disorder…no more trips to the post office!

  28. angela alonzo on June 8, 2021 at 4:00 am

Hey girly, what paint do you use?

  29. Bryan Haskins on June 8, 2021 at 4:00 am

for the vinyl decals, a rolling cutter might be easier and faster to use.

  30. Lois Liao on June 8, 2021 at 4:02 am

hey bro, amazing video, good job.I really appreciate your ability. Our company is a professional supplier in the Print on Demand industry, owning two factories in the US and China, may I know whether there are any chances to cooperate with you?

  31. C Star on June 8, 2021 at 4:02 am

I’m curios about the amount of Blackett paint you used. It didn’t look like it was as dense as the white you did by hand instead of roller. Is that right? Thanks so much for taking us behind the scenes!

  32. Nicole Pederson on June 8, 2021 at 4:04 am

What kind of wood are you using?

  46. Marvin Atkins on June 8, 2021 at 4:25 am

You need to get you a couple packs of painters helpers, probably save you several hours a week.

  47. Connie Roeder on June 8, 2021 at 4:25 am

What cutter do you use? Mine must be old or perhaps blade is dull, but I cannot seem to cut fine letters easily? It’s a HUGE headache every time I try!

  48. Syn Veit on June 8, 2021 at 4:25 am
