Having an indoor shower inside your campervan seems like a clever addition. It is also a practical solution if you don’t plan on having a cubicle installed inside your home on wheels. But will this setup work for you? 🤔 Would there be a risk of water spilling 💦 over your cushions?

Nah, the amount of work to set it up and then the worry of making sure it’s not at all damp when you put it away are way too much.

For everyone concerned with mold, these vans & skoolies are very well built. In fact they’re much better than a prefab RV. Most of these vans & skoolies have exhaust fans, usually TWO! The shower has a shower pan that drains into a gray tank or directly onto the ground. They use eco-friendly products when showering & washing dishes. These showers are usually only used when boondocking as they have limited water onboard. Otherwise, they use Planet Fitness showers. 🤔💭🤦♀️
Hard to keep clean and free of stench and mildew
It’s a cool idea but its a lot of work to shower and if you had a couple in that van and one was sleeping or something it just seems impractical
It’s seems clumsy & things can get wet. Better if it’s on one side of the van on a permanent place or maybe an outdoor shower is a better idea.

Yeah I wouldn’t be able to do that right by where I sleep that’s a little gross and with the setup it’s like a mold frenzy

Love the concept l, clever, but how do you dry it out properly. I saw nothing wrong with it, it is a innovative idea, as lomg as it works for you. All good.
my heart rate went up significantly setting the blankets move their way towards the floor 🤒😷

Showering outside is probably a better idea for mold and mildew issues that will become evident long-term.

Weird. Next to your bed and seats. Won’t be surprised if mold or mildew start growing where you sleep.
You must have set that on a time lapse photo multi burst. 1 photo every 10, 20 or 30 seconds. lots of snaps, but it looks decent for a stop motion.

It is difficult to take a bath, you should put a separate bathroom inside the van

If I have a van, my no.1 request would be an enclosed shower&toilet. No way I will take an open dump next to the kitchen!

It’s an extremely poor design. WAY too much hassle + mold and mildew breeding down there. Horrible design. definitely not worth it. Does more active harm than good.

Just FYI for anyone wondering, I saw a dude build a sitting shower inside a regular 7 or 8 seater car. He put the same drain n shower curtain but uses a tiny step stool to sit on while they bathe.
