Thank you – I needed to make an easy cat ladder for my back yard, and this did the trick. I just turned the steps so they are flat, and this was perfect! One trip to the hardware store + one evening. Mahalo for the clear, concise instructions.
I love your channel, thank you so much 🙂
Thousands of lifetime projects with Woodprix plans.
Thank you for this straightforward video on making a blanket ladder
Great job, I have to build one for a friend of mine
Thanks for sharing this☺️
I ask my husband if he could make me a blanket ladder and he found your project and made it for me the same day😁
LOVE LOVE LOVE! the way it turned out🥰♥️♥️♥️
Wow, so very cool. Just found your channel. What is the product name and details of the stain/paint/finish you used?
It turned out great! So quick and easy. Thank you for sharing!
My daughter and I are excited to make this You make it look so easy
I think that when I make mine I’m going to angel my blanket boards or maybe not. We will see but again thank you for making it look so easy 😊
Awesome!
No way is 5 dollars.
heh… leatherman.
I see where you get your skills.
Great tutorial!💛
Do you mean 1×4 (nominal), which is 1×3 1/2 (actual)? I haven’t seen 1x3s before.
Thank you for the plan. That is very kind of you.
1 thing I noticed that in your video instructions was that you didn’t sand the boards before assembly. If I am going to put blankets on the runs I hope they wouldn’t get snagged threads
I love this build! I did one for my house & my mom asked for one as a christmas present! Win-Win!
Just subscribed to your channel, I want a blanket ladder and you just inspired me to make one myself, thank you for sharing
My son, Matthew is a mechanical engineering major and is finding his love for wood working. I had seen your video for this blanket ladder and I fell in love with it. I asked Matthew for a blanket ladder from him for Christmas. The only thing I asked was that he follow your video. He said your instructions were so easy to follow. He not only made me one but he made his sister, sister in law, his fiancé and her mother one for Christmas. He did an amazing job and they were all blown away by his craftsmanship. Thank you. I would love to send you a picture of the finished product. Thank you again!❤️ 🪜
Really nice! Thanks for the video.
Thanks, just made one in 45 min
I wish I could share videos! I made this and it turned out so much better than j could have imagines
Nice easy build. My wife has been after me to build a blanket ladder, thanks for sharing.👍
great job…thanks
Nice work! Gonna attempt one of these this week!
Thank you for sharing and creating this video! I’ve been shopping for blanket ladders for weeks and thought “you love DIY projects that involve tools…go to YouTube”. Lol
Beautiful work! Thank you for the video and inspiration!
Very nice! I like the look of a 1×3 compared to the other styles personally.
When you applied the stain, did you let it dry for a certain length of time before you put blankets on it? My concern would be stain bleeding into a blanket if put on too quickly.
Thanks!
Why did it cost me 60?! My 8ft wood cost 10.84 a peice…..I was so sad and poor afterwards.
But it is cute 😍
I’m going to do it! 😆
Love this
So it doesn’t fall on the ground?
This was my first project. It looks so good, thank you for the plan. I can’t figured out why the ladder is so lopsided. Any suggestions how to make it straight? I’ve tried clamping, alternation putting in the screws ..
Thank you for the easy to follow video
Very friendly and real 👍🇺🇸
Nice 👍🏻. Making one today for my wife. 😁
Great instructions. Easy to follow. Made this ladder and did a couple of personal finishes with the router. Very pleased with it. Thank you and look forward to learning more from you.
5,- blacket ladder. 500+ dollar needed for equipment. NICE
Thanks for the tutorial and the plans. Your dad sounds like a cool guy. He must have been a soldier. I think I will try to use my leatherman as well. Lol. Great tutorial. Thanks again.
Wow! What a wonder project.
Wow, how the prices have changed, one 1×3 is now 4.59 each at my local home depot! 🙁
You are very talented❤️❤️
T y for instructions. It’s so simple. When I closely examined a rung at an antique store…it appeared complicated. I hope my attempt will not injure anyone. Lol
