Nice job! ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
I canβt believe you putting Green back into the bathroom ..?…
I’m probably the only one…but I think a bronzed camode would look good. I know im crazy…but one that matched faucet shower spichet. Ive probably had too much wine…either way, excellent job!
Came out excellent π₯°ππ₯°ππ₯°ππ₯°
I didnβt like the tiles at all
Beautiful job but I love the original retro tub, basin and tiles. I would of left π
I love the floor tiles and the vanity. The entire bathroom looks great and you did a wonderful job!
How did you fit your floor tiles around your toilet? Or did you remove the toilet in order to fit them up underneath? Iβm seeing different approaches to this- have been watching several bathroom budget remodels. Not sure what would be best.
This turned out so awesome! She was still cute before tho π I have a bathroom kind of like this (1954) in a house bf and I just bought. I have the same built in towel rod, did you just paint over the whole thing or did you have to take the towel bar out of the tile part? Thanks for the great ideas and inspo!! Ps that caulk job was cleannn
next time when you use an iron put a wet cloth under nether it. my gpa taught me that when i was younger
3/4 way through, wow it looks exactly how I would want it!! Thank you very much for documenting this! So good!
I love love it and the floor and door knobs are nice! How much was the complete transformation? Money well spent.
This is my bathroom only mine has cream tiles!! Yes even the towel bars! Who makes the ugly towel bars ugh? I hate it
Awesome job!
I love the hack with iron πππ
Amazing, looks great. Allot of work but soooo worth it. Love it.
Amazing job! I too have one of those 60s colorful tubs and would love to redo it in white. How is the paint on the tub holding up?
Excellent results on a solid realistic budget that doesnβt require a second mortgage.
Looks amazing!! Yall did an incredible job!
Wow , very impressive. And I love that you used everything that was already there. How is the tiles holding up now?
That’s not avocado, it’s pistachio
Scary bathroom. I think sometimes it’s really worth it to save and renew the bathroom altogether. I like the floor, it’s bold.
wow! you just showed that it is possible to remodel from hideous to beautiful on a budget, without tearing down or calling a contractor, I am completely inspired!
That was impressive!! Good Job!
Oh my god…. thatβs my favorite flooring π In that exact pattern too. Havenβt bought it yet so Iβd better do it soon, I heard itβs always on back order π
Holy shit! That before OMG
omg the setup is the EXACT same as mine, except i have the nasty pink wall tile and the seafoam green only half painted on. I can NOT believe that this bathroom has been like this since 1961 and NOBODY has changed it!!!!!!
I would have gotten a better shower curtain.
The window in the shower we also had. Yup for later: but a quart of marine paint to paint the trim of the window, it repels water like crazy!
Looks great!!! Good job
Ready to redo my bathroom tonight after this. Great job. How is the tub and tile paint holding up?
I used a heat gun to remove my basement tile. It worked wonders
I love that 1950s Green bathroom.
Came to this video thinking the green was the after shot :/ love love love the og but im glad you like your home now
You are so down to earth & very handy too! Iβm married to a professional painter who is retired but I donβt have to paint anything….Your bathroom transformation is ***AWESOME***ππ»π
I love the original floor and the green Tub! It looks awesome though!
Are you renting the house??
helloooo please let us know how the painting has held up π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί
How did you paint the towel racks and tooth brush soap holders? Spray?
Are in a rental you own your place …ππ
Love it! You should paint the window pane black
Update please!! Love it. Looks like mine and youβve inspired me and motivated me to do it.
What a great job.πππππ
What a great job you did. I have the exact same Floor Pops vinyl tile I’m going to put down on my own bathroom – right now dark olive green. It was cool when I moved in six years ago but not any longer. I’m going as black and white as I can, working around some wall-mounted beige tile (shower/tub surround) and olive green glass tile "accent" above the sink, that runs from the backsplash all the way up to the ceiling the entire width of the vanity (fortunately, not a really large one). Inspirations galore, thanks, and I hope you’re enjoying the new bath these past many months since I posted this on 10/3/2020.
This was really a great and inspiring revocation project! Wonderful redo!
I know this won’t be the most popular comment but I loved the green, I love the original tiles in those old bathroom and I cringe when people have one in such great shape and they tear them out or paint over them but your new bathroom is beautiful especially for diy and on a budgetβ£οΈ
You have done a great job, very much inspiring.
I like the green tile. Your before bathroom is actually cute and inviting imo. Way nicer than my bathroom!
Great job. I wish you would paint the window sill. The bathroom looks brand new except for that.
This looks great. You should be proud. I’m all for saving money. So what if you have to touch up or repaint something. You have saved thousands. Your before bathroom actually was in better shape than mine was in. We got a new tub and tile. Still hasn’t been finished.
