    Hi ,
You can save money on phones by having your phone linked up to Saskatchewan instead of Ontario or better yet when you go back to Mexico go to telcel and buy. Few SIM cards and link up to them for use in Canada USA and Mexico for $10 per month which gives some data but more important you get unlimited what’s app and unlimited phone calls in all 3 countries for almost free . You can connect from Canada but you need a SIM card and perhaps a bit of understanding Spanish. It’s a bit of a loophole getting this cheap rate but you just have to jump through a few hoops . We have travelled for 4 years in our van and we have a Mexican phone number and through B.C. tel a landline in our permanent home for our friends to call and messages go direct to email wherever we are in the world so we are easily contacted . Hope you can use some of that. Great video guys

Late to the party on this vlog but holy smokes guys! Your phone plan?! F**k me! I’m in the uk and my plan with Virgin is £30 (around $56 Canadian dollars) a month for 100GB of data and unlimited texts! I can’t believe that! How is that even legal?! Any data I don’t use is rolled over to the next month… it’s also free to roam in most European countries now! 😱 shocked!

  3. deenbud on March 6, 2021 at 11:20 pm

damn yall need a new phone plan! I have unlimited text call (internationaly) and no data overages with telus!

  4. cambobby2011 on March 6, 2021 at 11:20 pm

I can’t wait for Starlink satelite system to become operational in North America. Approx $80 per month for high speed internet anywere in the country (not cities, too much interferences)… So with a few IP phone lines… it’ll be so much cheaper for us Canadian!!! Take it canadian cell companies in your behind!!! LOL.

I pay $28 a month w Koodo and survive on wifi when I travel. Fun fact; gps works without paying for data when I travel to the states from Canada. All you have to do is connect at any wifi source and start gps before you leave. It will guide you all the way but mostly where reception is available. Even if you loose the signal or you get a little lost and find your way back it will catch the signal again. You can even try it if you have data now by turning it off and just having your wifi signal on. Happy adventures everyone!

For van lifers you guys are pretty high maintenance. You spend more because you expected more LOL I spent years on the road and also travelled and it really didn’t cost me a whole hell of a lot.

  11. Darrell P on March 6, 2021 at 11:25 pm

What is the average apartment rent, like you had?

  12. berryfairy68 on March 6, 2021 at 11:25 pm

Wow I can’t believe how expensive phone plans are in Canada 😯 Only thing I’d miss from “the states” my $50 unlimited plan 😂

  13. Jaboskiproductions 95 on March 6, 2021 at 11:26 pm

Thank you for sharing. I am curious to hear more about van expenses like having to pay for parking overnight, filling your water tank, etc. ❤️❤️❤️

  18. Kathleen Reynolds on March 6, 2021 at 11:31 pm

While that total may sound high, I have friends who spend $300 just on coffee! Also, you are not paying rent! That 💰 is going instead to maintaining your van! I have seen what you buy at grocery stores/street vendors and it is quality stuff! And for some of my friends-that is their liquor bill!
I am so impressed you shared this, very interesting and personally-it is none of anybody’s business!
Thank you for being so open. As soon as I can get my own budget in rein, I’ll be getting your chai!

  19. I. Storm on March 6, 2021 at 11:33 pm

3200??? Thats too much, you can buy a 5 bedroom house for that

  20. Ella Holloway on March 6, 2021 at 11:34 pm

Is it just me or is it funny how Eamon didn’t talk for the first whole minute of the video? 😂

  21. Design Studio on March 6, 2021 at 11:36 pm

It is not cheap to do it right.

  22. Benjamin Tardy on March 6, 2021 at 11:40 pm

I wonder how cheap you could do it

  23. Greg Greg on March 6, 2021 at 11:42 pm

  24. Presto702 on March 6, 2021 at 11:44 pm

  25. Navdip Singh on March 6, 2021 at 11:45 pm

don’t they have coupons for food shopping which you could offset to cover other costs!.

  30. EBecky on March 6, 2021 at 11:51 pm

125 is for coffee, but I see it as paying for internet, office rent, electricity, water, and heat/Air conditioning. I mean that’s a bargain.
